Mid-Autumn Festival, Havarti, mooncake, and plans

Mom said something about mooncake and Grandma in an email, so I had to call to see what was up. I told her that Uncle Michael had told me that they wouldn't be coming on Sunday, hahaha. She invited me to dinner tomorrow if I want to see Havarti / Steph, but I thankfully have pre-existing plans because of MY dinner. Also, she said something about the Mid-Autumn Festival and mooncake with Chinese ham in it. Hm... I got her to pick me up on Sunday afternoon, so Chinese Eric won't have to come out and meet me at a Skytrain station, or drive me home afterwards. He IS a good friend, but I won't take advantage of it.

Me: "Mom, I should tell you about this... *does so* " Mom: "CHEH! Of course you should tell me!" Me: "... I TOLD YOU, RIGHT NOW!" o_O

FUCKING ZSNES EMULATOR RESTARTING!!!

Imagine my surprise when Eric copied me on an email to Chung about tickets to the Missions Conference dinner on Friday, his mother's birthday! That earned him a death threat: if I say that I want tickets, I'll HAVE to be there! I just want a lot of solitude, all right?! Good thing I've carved out the downtime from yesterday evening to maybe Saturday's dinner... I guess Friday would be the breaking point. Then I discovered that the STUPID FUCKING EMULATOR RESTARTED COMPLETELY ON ME! WHAT THE FUCKING HELL?! NOW I HAVE TO INPUT ALL CODES AGAIN FOR EVERY GAME!

Here's the party at the DRAGON QUEST VI Medal King's Castle, receiving Sexy Underwear as a reward for bringing him over 100 Small Medals!

DRAGON QUEST progress / Steve L. / Beefy Beef

I've finally progressed further in DRAGON QUEST VI than I did before the game originally froze on Thursday! :D I just hope it doesn't do that AGAIN... I'll be sure to save my SRM files just in case.

I sent Steve L. an email to wish him a happy early birthday; even though the time difference between here and Adelaide works in my favor, I still wanted to do so. I probably shouldn't be using Myles and Brittney's wedding as an excuse, but WHO KNOWS how busy I could be on that Saturday... o_O

The parents picked me up, and gave me a shortened pair of pants, plus some HELLO KITTY candy (which will be for the children), ready-to-eat pizza, and cooked chicken. Thank goodness I could put everything in the fridge and closet! We met up with Uncle Michael and Aunt Leslie at Dogwood; Grandma looked worse today, and Aunt thought someone had hung her! She did have a mark on her neck, but you never know! Of COURSE my mom had to make a big deal out of my sitting in the middle because of "being polite to guests"; no wonder I'm aggravated, since I'm sure she does it to annoy me! I do recognize my need for downtime, so I'm not leaving the apartment till at least Thursday! Grandma thought I was Steph, but it was okay. I picked up three more pairs of pants there.

We went to Beefy Beef for lunch; I had spicy noodles and shaved ice with lychee / coconut jelly / pudding. Also got to talk to baby Ayler, who was pretty active, and fussy if he didn't get to look out at the bright sunshine from the window. We went to Trafiq coffee shop while Jon and Harmony met up with Jeremy at Matchsticks coffee shop. I had a chocolate eclair, but no coffee. Jon wanted a ride to Richmond, so we had to stick around town for more than an hour after dropping Uncle and Aunt off at Dogwood. We went to Oakridge library, which was okay. I managed to see Jeremy at the coffee shop; he had received my email, and I'm pretty sure THIS restaurant (Joey's) is still open! He'd gone to Chinatown and the surrounding area, and noticed a bunch of places which weren't open anymore: "What? These things changed, and I didn't notice till now?!" The car ride home was filled with animal naming and such. Jon and I offered to pull Mom's whiskers out for her, but she wouldn't hear of it. I got home at 4:40, which was plenty good enough for me! (well, I wanted to be home an hour before, but it didn't happen)

No "me" time! / Randal, Cindy, Chrystal, and Dogwood

Mom called to say that we'd be having lunch with Uncle Michael and Aunt Leslie tomorrow since Jon wants to see them. Dammit, I had been looking forward to some "me" time! Oh well, maybe Tuesday... no, I can't just let it go! She said that Jon and Harmony have a baby exercise class, so I told her that it was important! Apparently, we're meeting them at Dogwood and driving them around again because they might get lost / not like driving, so I can already tell I'll get shoved into the middle seat. *sigh*

Randal emailed me to say he'd come on Saturday ("I'm free then, but I'll charge a fee for my servies thereafter"), and Cindy said that she was actually babysitting. I called Chrystal to see whether she was free that night, and she said that she could come after Awana, so that sounds good too.

Red Robin's is CLOSED?! Joey's it is!

When Eric picked me up this morning, he was amazed that I was on time - ha ha ha. We talked about the news, my birthday dinner, DRAGON QUEST error messages, Hurricane Leslie (Dennis beat you to it!), and more. When we got to church, I sat near Jeremy and Christon, and we shared amusement over weird music and such in the service. Poor Stanley had to stand in for an absent Scripture reader, and Pastor Dan got excited over the strangest things! After service, I was exiting the sanctuary when that weird Native guy looked at me - I gave him my best "who the heck do you think YOU are?!" look, of course. (Eric got to hear plenty about this "social interaction" later!) Auntie Catherine wished me a happy birthday, so I thanked her; Pat overheard this, and echoed the wishes! I told Jeremy about my birthday plans, but he informed me that Red Robin's was CLOSED - WHAT THE. Lincoln later said that he'd seen the Metrotown location all torn up and under construction, so it must be true! Karen said to send her the details of whatever it ended up being; I also promised Jeremy, Christon, Kevin, and Randal some emails. Lincoln said that there was a Joey's on Broadway, which was like Red Robin's and the Cactus Club, so I said I'd look it up when I got to a computer. (I have, and it seems okay)

I saw Jon later talking to CHUCK, so I had to update the ugfart on everything related to Mom, family drama, Uncle Michael, Aunt Leslie, fighting for the bill, baby LAI-SEE, being HAK-HAI, and "Chinese conflict resolution - don't talk about it." At least they seemed okay with each other yesterday... though now Mom says there's no dinner since Aunt Leslie already made plans. Fine by me - more gaming and non-social time! Chatted to Andrea about pregnancy; they'll come back in February with the baby, heh. Saw Brian and Amy back from their wedding, and talked to Denise about my birthday plans; she's leaving for Hawaii tomorrow since she has to be in a wedding! I said hi to Deb and baby Declan, who was interested in my hat and the bling on my London Drugs shirt. Stanley was confusing Harrison and Amos by saying that he was three times their age, so I asked Harrison how old he was. Then I got him to add seven (his age) and seven, but he didn't know 14 plus seven! When I gave him the answer, he rushed upstairs to tell Amos, haha! Also talked to Gino and Quan briefly about origami paper cranes / Paper Craft / Joseph Wu, and asked Emily about Chrystal - not here today! Vivian told me about the BBQ on Friday, and wondered where I'd been - well, since Eric had to go do something, I wasn't there!

Went upstairs myself to find that Shira was the only person in Toddler Sunday School because David, Evelyn, Ashley, Anastasia, Ramen, and James have all gone to kindergarten! Natalie and Mattias arrived later, with a sleepy Marcus being outside. Talked about toy food, watermelon, light rice crackers, drawing, birds, trains, and more while I did tag prompts. Some of the older kids came in at the end: Jonathan (in Gr. 4), his sister Ashley, Ramen, Anastasia (with her dad Danny), Rachel (in Gr. 4, who hates running around Vancouver Christian School) and her grandma, Arthur, and Esther. When I got downstairs, I saw Sean (who's in Gr. 4) and his brother Ian, who's in Gr. 6 - these kids grow up fast, and I remember when they were babies! Eventually, I talked to Kevin and Christon about Saturday; Eric and I were out of there soon. (Hien and Julie said bye) Not for Pho with everyone else, but to go to the Canucks team store (by PNE / Playland) to see if he could exchange something. No dice there, but it was worth a shot. He said that he should have told me to get a ticket for Friday's dinner, so I should email Randal about it. Maybe I just won't go, is all... and he thinks I'll get Eric Ho to drive me on Saturday, haha. We'll see! Also talked about WINTER, Mantique, DUCK TALES for the NES, save states, no patience to restart a game from death, my being "drunk" or crazy, French "The Cheat is not dead!", and more.

Psycho hosebeast / Chinese Eric planning! / RED ROBINS

I decided to call Chinese Eric at about 6:50, and he'd just got in; we had a great 45-minute conversation, though! As I thought, he HAD called me a few nights ago at 11 PM, but he just wanted to see if I'd bumped into Nathan again since that guy doesn't respond to messages. Nope, I hadn't seen him! White Eric's pizza crawl idea might have been good last week if I weren't feeling terribly! After telling him about the resident who THREW FOOD AT and SPIT AT different care aides today, I updated him on James... so HE says that his ex-girlfriend Little Miss Giggles was basically a psycho hosebeast who was possessive and jealous. She was telling him that she loved him within two weeks, was talking about moving in and having children, and was basically bad news. SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU'RE SELFISH?! Needless to say, he didn't have a very warm welcome from me last night when he told me that he was back online. ("Do I know you? Oh... it's YOU.") Eric concurred with me: BAD NEWS!

We talked about hockey, CFL football (the Lions won today), early birthday wishes for the weekend, cold and windy Hong Kong winters, Havarti, guys exposing themselves, his guy perspective ("they're not running towards you - flasher with trenchcoat!"), lockout talks, TLC reality shows, JERSEY SHORE not being like the SOPRANOS (Mafia!), MSN possibly dying like ICQ did, poker, the blackout on local football games, and birthday dinner details. It'll be the first time he'll be at Kwong Chow without his family, hahaha. Aaron C. suggested Chuck E. Cheese or the River Rock casino, but one's too far and the other's too expensive! Eric's down for two dinners in two days, so Red Robin's is ON! Not that I have to run my own birthday celebrations by him, but if I want him at both (and if he doesn't mind), it's only considerate to take your best friend's opinion and preferences into account! So it's Red Robin's - no Chinese food twice in two days for ME if I can help it, haha. Made a FB event for it, too. Replied to Mandy's emails afterwards, too. :D

In love with Ludman?! / MY FAMILY IS ERIC!

I tried calling Chinese Eric at 9:45 while reading old emails, but his mom said he was sleeping since he was tired from working. Not a problem! Then half an hour later, he got on MSN to say that he wanted to write me to say that he was busy tomorrow because stuff came up.... NO FAT DRAGON FOR YOU! At least I appreciate that! He wanted to know how long Nate's stay was; I had heard until the 9th. When I said I probably wanted Grandma at the birthday celebration this year, he figured that it would be a close family thing. Yes, but I had to tell him that HE was PART of MY FAMILY! (reaction: "cool cool - THANKS! *thumbs up* ") Updated him on Grandma, too. He hopes the weather will cool down when the kids are back in school, and I had to tell him that I was thinking about that the other night for him! "The nights will be cooler again, just for Chinese Eric!" Hahaha! He asked about the dog, too. It was a nice chat, for sure! I know he was kind of tired, so I didn't mind if he needed sleep at midnight!

Jon emailed us to say that FAT DRAGON is probably flexible; I looked the directions up on Translink, and it involves Waterfront Station and then four possible buses to Powell Street - CONFUSION! Then he sent another one to say that we could shelve it for a later date where more people could make it, even if Nate's leaving soon. Should be good times, then!

The Hero has to choose between Flora or Bianca, but says he can marry Flora's father (Master Ludman) instead! "So what you're saying is that you're in love with me?! Er, I'm flattered, but really, you best think that over."

"Congratulations, Lord Simon... you're to be a father very soon!" YES? NO? HAHAHA! [this was taken from the hilarious LP thread... I'm not playing the game again just to get to this point once more!]

Weekly tradition! / Yvonne / SOMETHING AWFUL / Stone statues!

I've missed the weekly tradition, and now that I have peace and quiet, I'll go right back to it since it's been way too long from late May to August... and I also included Chinese Eric on the FAT DRAGON email thread! Replied to Mandy's emails this morning; yes, a certain person IS an idiot! (weekly tradition people seem to think much worse - but I'd agree; DOUCHE!) Vanessa got on MSN to tell me that she and Kim were looking at Cora's breakfast at around 9 or 10 on MONDAY; sounds good. I found a great LP thread on Something Awful for DRAGON QUEST V!

After the events of the Demon Tower, the Hero and his wife Bianca are turned into stone statues!

August 2012 BBT Tally / CHINESE ERIC / Panties!

I called Chinese Eric at 12:30 since I thought he'd called me, but "BLOCKED CALL" could mean anything! At least he answered the phone, and we had a good brief convo which made me feel better! I said that I'd seen Nathan TWICE already while he's been in town, and Eric wondered what was up with that guy since he never responded to his calls or emails! Nate IS a busy guy, with family dinners and work and who knows what else! I relayed the FAT DRAGON on MONDAY message from Jon to Eric, who said he'd have to see since the family friends STILL aren't out of town yet, but they DID just get back from the States! Says he'll call me on Saturday or Sunday to figure stuff out, which DEFINITELY sounds TERRIFIC! :D

Went to Sears at 2:05 to get some dark on-sale Jessica IMAGE panties, too. Also got Jessica knee socks, at three for $10. While I was at the mall, some East Indian kid smiled at me; he couldn't have been more than maybe nine or ten. Cute! Had to purchase some Always pads at Shoppers, and a watermelon bubble tea at Big Orange. I then thought of getting some cheap blank cards, but London Drugs / the dollar store / Shoppers didn't have them. Hallmark Cards had a 99ยข card section, but there were no blank cards. After scrounging through the "Thinking of You" subsection, I found one design that would be suitable for a baptism card application if ever I needed it, so I got the last eleven on the shelf. ("Sending you warm thoughts to brighten your day and lighten your heart" works! :P The "congratulations" cards almost never work if you want to use them for a non-Easter baptism!) I also found some seriously on-sale BUG 'EM! bees and ladybugs there (from $7.95 to $1.95?!), so got the last ladybug for myself, and a bee for white Eric's birthday which is next week. Yeah, they're more suitable for kids, but whatever works! Managed to cram everything into my purse (minus the garbage), and got home by 3:40!

Speaking of white Eric, he just called to see if I were going to the board games night: NO! I need my privacy! Also, I took the opportunity to rant to him about Randal's presumptuous emails. I don't want to hear anything more about SETTLERS OF CATAN or a guys' night out! JFC, people. I'm about to go back to the weekly tradition!

Christine, Scrabble, Itamar, perverts, dispelling RETURN!

Christine sent me a FB message, wondering if I ever played Scrabble. I used to with Scrabulous / Wordscraper / Lexulous, that's for sure! Eric sent us an email about the BBQ on the 7th (I gotta reply to the Evite), this Sunday's prayer time for the long-term viability of the group (I suspect I'll be at Cora's with Vanessa and Kim then), and there being NO OFFICIAL PROGRAM tomorrow - YES! Never mind the religious-based "gathering" stuff... it just means a free night to TRY getting Chinese Eric on the phone, hahahaha! Also, he mentioned SETTLERS OF CATAN, which now always makes me think of Itamar. :D

Old man in the Nameless Mountain Village tavern at night: "Just once, just once in my life, I'd like to know what's it like to take a bath. Fo fo fo."

People in the hot springs think we're perverts! "You came to this hot springs to do something perverted, didn't you?" If you say no, she replies: "Well, of course... hot springs are very good for the health." A "yes" answer gets you "Oh! You pervert!"

"Oh! You pervert!"

Perverted old man in the hot springs: "Oooh! B... Bianca! Are you here to bathe in the hot springs, too? *drown glug glug* "

We try casting RETURN in Port Selmi, but a magical force dispels it!

Soldier in Ruraphin: "Dammit! The roads in this city are so annoyingly complicated." (and they certainly ARE!)

The innkeeper in Oracle Valley: "Someone better take these folks to their comfy beds before I start handing out pink slips!"

The hero and Bianca on the way to their Salabona wedding, financed by Master Ludman. I didn't have the heart to choose his daughter Flora instead:

NED KELLY, baby Declan grabbing my hat, and distractions!

I had to wait a while for the 407, but it took me to Deb and Dylan's with no problem at all. Got there and instantly started playing with baby Declan (who's 18 pounds - Ayler is fifteen pounds at three months!), while half-watching BEING ERICA. At nine months old, he tried stealing my hat multiple times - I didn't let him touch it too much, haha! He made a lot of spluttering noises, and tried to talk to us; cute! We talked about our days, whether it was hard work being a baby ("they don't share their food, and tell me when to sleep!"), reading baby books, baby Ayler, Steph, Lisa, Vegas (Dylan knows they got married from FB), work venting, toys, steak / salad / cheesecake / ice cream / veggies / kimchi, Grandma, exercise, life insurance, and more. Also watched NED KELLY and some of CENTER STAGE on Netflix... I think I needed the gunfire and violence to take my mind off certain personal things!

Interesting stories - haven't watched a dance movie in more than four years! Got home to find that my parents had called me about tomorrow - I guess 4:30 should be fine if they want to see Big G! We've told her that Uncle Michael is coming, but she doesn't seem enthusiastic about it; we do know she's tired a lot, though. I bet Mom doesn't want to bump into Uncle Michael, haha. Personally, I don't mind if I do! On another note, it's a good thing that Chinese Eric didn't call me; I got home at 10:15, which might be late. Won't be able to call him till maybe Friday, but if people are still in town, I might have to wait till Tuesday. Can I do that?! YIKES! I love him (not in that way!), and this is really bad. At least I know HE isn't like certain other people I could name! Jon also emailed us (me / Harmony / Steph / Nate) about some restaurant in the Downtown Eastside called FAT DRAGON which apparently is a Chinese BBQ / Southern BBQ fusion, and he thinks he's willing to make this an early birthday dinner for me. Hahaha, we'll see about that!

Yazmine, Gold Orb, Borongo, older self, pink death

Barry called me, so I updated him on the past month as I was going to last week. He says it's horrible news - oh yes. Says I should call him tomorrow if I want to set up a shopping appointment, so I'll do that. Also emailed Chinese Eric, heh. I'm having sudden flashbacks to how that perfidious blackguard Yazmine Loquia ended our friendship in May 2005 over fifty cents at Kalamata Taverna! YIKES!

The DRAGON QUEST V little boy hero meets himself as an older man in Santa Rosa village, and his older version wants to see his Gold Orb!

Hey, it's Borongo and Bella in the Faerie Village!

Your hero doesn't know how to read the sign in Reinhart Castle town yet!

This is what it looks like when you're dead in DRAGON QUEST V, or "fainting." PINK! (this is against Gema in the Cave Northeast of Reinhart, before your father dies)

Grandma appetite, pork cheek, Nathan, happy Ayler, and chips

Mom complained that I was late, but they never called before leaving... then again, I had to post placeholders and such! Ran out of time to do everything that I wanted to, as well. However, I wouldn't have traded the lunch with baby Ayler and Grandma for that! Mom was nicer on the phone with Steph, OF COURSE. I tried helping with Grandma at Dogwood, but ended up pushing the surprisingly heavy wheelchair out the door; Steph said that I'd left the brakes on! Whoops! Went to the Grand Honour Restaurant for lunch - Jon, Harmony, Ayler, and Nathan were late as well, so it was FINE! Had pork cheek, noodles, HA-GOW, SIU MAI, duck, green beans, spicy sauce, soup, and more for lunch; Grandma had a very good appetite and just went for the beans like they were all hers! Steph found out that Neil Armstrong died, and it was great to see Nathan while he was in town! Talked about the happy baby Ayler (who seemed interested in Nathan, and grabbed my finger), Brian and Amy's wedding, yucca root tea, Uncle Eric, FLAMINGO restaurant, Havarti (the baby is older than the dog by two days), Thursday's dinner, Uncle Michael and Aunt Leslie coming in two weeks on September 6, "nasty" emails, and more.

By the time I got home at 3 (after Island Farms ice cream from Langara), Mom had given me Doritos chips (Sweet Chili Heat / Nacho Cheese); Cheetos; jalapeno cheese slices; peanuts; candy; funeral home mints; blackberry jam; Safeway chocolate chip cookies. I was going to go out and get the cards for Julie C. and Jeremy Y., but figured I should finish up stuff first. Checked my email, where Randal had given me advice to BE A BITCH when asking for drugs to make the pain go away for Big G. Also checked my phone to discover that Eric had called; seems he has to be at church at 9 (?!) because he signed up to help Stanford for Phil's farewell lunch tomorrow. Aiya! Guess I'll have to live with it! Finally managed to get out the door so I could buy on-sale index cards, much-needed milk, and blank cards for Julie C. / Jeremy Y.'s baptism tomorrow. Since I'll be at church anyway, I might as well...

Vanessa, Cora's crepes, Darren Morrison, CHOSEN ONES

Replied to Mandy's email this morning, heh. Vanessa got on MSN to say that I should try the HUGE crepes at Cora's in Ironwood... haha, maybe when I actually have money! She says she's back next week (which works), but Wayne's away for a while; got it. I checked my Yahoo account since she sent me a picture, and discovered that Darren M. had emailed me a spam HCG Ultra Drops link, like Farrah unwittingly did a couple weeks ago!

Candy showed me this Tumblr picture; someone get that guy a dictionary!

Ragnar, Puff Puff, Panon, CHOSEN ONE!

Got an email from Jon about a possible lunch with Big G on Saturday before Brian and Amy's wedding, and one from Steph stating I should RSVP to a family dinner at their place next Thursday. Apparently, Ayler can meet his dog cousin Havarti - if it's anything like his seeing baby Rebecca again at the park last week, he'll cry!

Ragnar going for "Puff Puff therapy" in Monbaraba at night: "It's over. Now you'll be popular with girls! Be confident from now on, okay?"

Princess Alena alone in the Puff Puff room in Monbaraba at night, and being warned against working at this undesirable place: "You want to work here? Don't. Puff Puff is not easy to master."

Panon has joined the party! Hopefully, his jokes will make the King of Stancia laugh! That way, we can get the Zenithian Helm!

However, since Panon isn't one of the Chosen Ones, he doesn't know what to do with the wagon!

Yelping, Endor, Laurent, Strom, Taloon, RETURN, and more Ragnar!

I was responsible today, and paid my hydro bill. Cindy also replied to my "Happy Belated Birthday" email to thank me, and say that she's been praying for Grandma - that's what I'd expect, haha.

Italian Tomato, outdoor mats, Douglas Park, and GOOD FOOD

I was going to visit Grandma briefly before going to meet Eric at Langara Station, but Jon said to bring a mat to sit on. Since I didn't have one, I went to the dollar store / Sears / London Drugs to see if they had anything like that. London Drugs DID, but it was more like a balcony mat - whatever, I wasn't picky at that point since I was running out of time! We went to Douglas Park to meet Jon, Harmony, and Ayler. This was after we went to Dragon Ball to pick up bubble tea. Jon paid Eric back for his order of something fruity (mango) - half sugar - coconut jelly for Harmony, and something adventurous (red bean and longan) - half sugar - pearls for himself. I didn't have cash, so Eric paid... he also got taro, and I got a pudding. Mr. Dragon Ball was still there!

Jon, Harmony, Eric, and I talked about baby Ayler, parenthood, the bright yellow color of Eric's shirt, my Canucks shirt, Grandma and her eye not being quite open, Steph, Lisa, the puppy, life updates, construction, Nathan, Desmond, and more. When Eric held the baby, Ayler started crying! Edwin and Jane showed up with baby Rebecca, and both babies started fussing and crying when they looked at each other! Talked about Brian and Amy's wedding next week, Amy finding the ring before the proposal, Norman, Sean, children's concerts (one was in the background!), and more. Eric and I left earlier than they did because of the sun and a bit of hunger. We talked about Kingspark Seafood House, but I wanted to see if we could find that Italian Tomato place which Eliza recommended to me months ago. As it turned out, we did - but not after some creative driving and turns of phrase! No, I don't mind if he swears!

Discussed Grandma, pasta, his cousins not being babies anymore, pizza, mushrooms, chicken, spicy Italian sausage, shrimp, life, chilling, Price Smart, sports, the Blue Jays, BEYOND BELIEF, curses, paying me back if I paid by debit, his friends getting married and having kids, the lockout possibility, and more. Of course I didn't mind if he stopped by Price Smart briefly to see if he could find stuff for his grandma! He didn't, but he still opted to chill for a bit back at my place. Conversed about new books, Uganda and Gay Pride, CRACKED articles, cash, Halloween and Christmas stuff in stores already, the guestbook, and more. When he left about an hour later at 10:30, Yvonne had emailed me and Jon some contact info for her and her siblings. I finally managed to reply to Steve's email, too... it's been almost three weeks, man! Things keep on happening around here!

Saying goodbye to Yvonne, vase breaking, and Havarti

Good thing I checked my trash folder this morning, since Mom has stated that Yvonne is leaving soon, and I could go to Dogwood to see Grandma and say goodbye to Yvonne. That lined up with my own plans - thank goodness I finished copying and pasting enemy names to my draft posts at 2:30 AM, and finally finished the tag lists at 3 PM! Finally finished the bagels and wafers, along with the FARMHOUSE rice. Called Steph to advise her of my plans; I'm sure I'll meet their new dog Havarti soon, even if Big G didn't like the dog licking her face in greeting! My vase from Elizabeth (which I've been using to store laundry money) broke, too! I've had that for more than ten years! Managed to buy a clear case at the drug mart across the street from Dogwood, which was less than $1.75 - very affordable!

Saw Yvonne, William, and Andrea in Big G's room with Mom - Grandma was trying on some new shoes in her wheelchair. Talked a bit to Andrea, who said they'd gone to Whistler and did some shopping, and were leaving tomorrow at 1. I'm sure she was bored, but there's nothing to be done about that. Took some photos, and tried getting Grandma to walk a few steps; that would have been fine, except she fell down! Luckily, Dad was there to grab her! Andrea gave me a piece of peach Hi-Chew candy, prompted by her mom. I told her that I'd save it for later, heh. An angry person is living there who has an infectious disease... AIYA! When we said bye to Grandma (who thought she was in a hotel or at home - a floating hotel!), Yvonne was crying afterwards. That totally makes sense! At least I got a ride home; Mom wants me to go visit Big G at least once a week, which of course I shall do! Now. it's back to DRAGON WARRIOR III!

Gently Weeping Guitars / Diaper Loads / Erin / Harmony and poop

Erin sent me a FB message about my birthday wishes and Grandma, which is nice! Harmony also sent us a bunch of Ayler photos and videos, including poop and other stuff. He wants to have a conversation with Mommy already, hahaha! The Beatles song "WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS" came on the radio just as I was uploading a picture of a Gently Weeping Guitar (MOTHER 3 enemy) to Photobucket and Facebook! SWEET SYNCHRONICITY / COINCIDENCE! :D

Wrathchild, swamp errors, Holy Loly Mountain, Giegue, and more!

When I got up, I found out that Steve L. had emailed me back with good thoughts and such since he knows how close I am with my nutty family, so of course I had to reply. He thought of me while watching the Tea Party some time back, and has challenges to work on. Of course I'll do my best with ranting! Finished MOTHER 1 again, since my Internet connection decided to go screwy. I also discovered that DRAGON WARRIOR 3 gives me an error message when I step into swamps and damage zones with codes ON: "Executed an undefined order." I should be CAREFUL!

There's danger lurking nearby for the party on Holy Loly Mountain!

EVE is our protective robot! Unfortunately, she gets destroyed...

We can't teleport on Mt. Itoi because some kind of force is pushing us back! (same place as above)

No, you can't talk to your great-grandfather George's grave!

This is Giegue's mothership, where he took all the grownups in Easter, including Ana's mom!

You can't grasp the form of Giygas' attack!

"HOW COULD I BE DEFEATED BY QUEEN MARY'S SONG?!"

Dad hates to wake us, but it might be a bit too soon to rest easy...

It's out of the question for us NOT to have the Magic Ball in DRAGON WARRIOR III! (at the shrine near Aliahan)

In Aliahan, my mother wonders whether I'm going to get up and go: "WHAT wrong?" Hahaha!

"YES" and "NO" aren't acceptable answers to "This is the Cave of Enticement. The seal has already been broken!"

A guy at the Reeve inn: "Wow! FLAMSTER is a woman? What? I'm wrong? Sure looks like a woman to me..."
