HMV closing, TACO LUIS, breathable pants, and AWESOME TIMES!

After watching the hockey game, Chinese Eric and I chilled for a bit before going out to Richmond Centre. We walked around and looked at some of the Christmas displays - I noticed that HMV is going to close down next week! Of course, there were a bunch of bargains inside when we looked... but I don't have Blu-Ray or anything like that, never mind the money to buy those things! There were some band T-shirts, but I don't want to wear stuff for New Found Glory or other emo bands! I didn't mind going into SportsChek or whatever they're calling themselves these days while he looked at some stuff like BC Lions merchandise and breathable pants he can wear at home. While we were there, I saw a warm Canucks toque with earflaps... then we went into Old Navy, and he saw Pittsburgh Steelers / Vancouver Canucks T-shirts. I have no clue whether white Eric is still jovial and happy over the Lions winning the Grey Cup, haha. Briefly looked at things in EB Games, which I didn't mind either. His cousin introduced Auntie to the Wii, haha - it could be a good investment!

We went into Indigo Spirit and looked at biographies and such (and the murder notepads!) while talking about them, later plans, parking lot LUCK, resting because of tiredness (much better than throwing up and having to leave early!), Subway, having coffee at Starbucks, businesses, how often I called / saw my family, his health, downloads, Value Village, Pho and my mood about it, ripping movies, polygamy (ew), fluctuating mealtimes (HE UNDERSTANDS!), the bigger Chapters store, and more. I discovered the start of redrum, but couldn't do anything about that... maybe that's been why I've been so tired in the last couple of days, besides lack of sleep! BLACK IS THE WAY TO GO! Then I asked what he was doing on Boxing Day, since I figure the only way I'll go to that family dinner and halfway enjoy it is if he's there, hahaha. Of course I figure that his mom scheduled a bunch of stuff for next week, but he should be okay for that evening. Should be good times IF Mom says yes - if not, I ain't going!

Later, we checked out Chapters, looking at Canucks books / more biographies / TINTIN / THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO / the bargain section. Then we went to Lansdowne Mall to see what was up there: it was quieter! He apologized for not parking closer to the food court, but it was fine as he didn't know where it was! Hell, I had to apologize for not knowing what I wanted to eat! (of course, he said that was okay, too) Finally, I decided on TACO LUIS - two specials sounded good to us! We discussed Steph, Lisa, gay people, Christians, my choosing dinner since he chose the snack, Facebook / Twitter communication, white Eric / worship / sound duties, busing to church on Sunday mornings being too much trouble, support, Xmas Eve service, Erica, Korean BBQ with a bunch of people next time, Jon being a pastor, and more. When he dropped me off at 9:20 with MERRY CHRISTMAS / HAPPY NEW YEAR wishes, I took care of things first before calling Steph, who said that Mom and Dad went out to dinner before Fellowship. "But I called at 6-something!" was met with "That's when normal people have dinner!" Meh, whatever... I love my non-normal schedule! I also discovered that I'd missed a "hello!" message from white Eric on MSN... haha, I'll figure it out tomorrow!

5-3 wins keeping EIGHT YEARS ALIVE! CHINESE ERIC IS AWESOME!

Chinese Eric finally came by after it was 1-1 already in the game, saying that since there was a car accident and he was near a McDonalds anyway, he decided to get a burger / fries / McNuggets with BBQ sauce. I offered bottled water, Ferrero Rocher, Dutch biscuits, shortbread swirls, and chips. We discussed TV delays, Jon / Harmony moving, seeing Nathan, Ciel being in town at some point (maybe?), white Eric, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 4, BATMAN, kids, the convenience of looking things up on the Internet (like what time Richmond Centre closed tonight - hanging out there!), KFC, Walmart, MissionsFest (and the booklet), yesterday's potluck, the Jets, my family / parents, Silvercity Riverport movie showtimes, how things were different than last year, video games, curling, and more. Decided to open that mysterious Illinois Christmas card I got a few days ago - for some reason, I felt safer now that Eric was around, haha. It turned out to be from Steve and Carol - WOW! The Canucks also won 5-3, so that was a GOOD THING! THE EIGHT-YEAR WIN STREAK IS ALIVE AND WELL!

Xmas potlucks, Longbow chocolate porter, HANGOUTS!

When Eric picked me up at 5:15 for the potluck, I discovered that I had lost the top to my lotion - I found it later at home on the floor, though. PHEW! We talked about possibly missing a hockey game because of a family dinner, my constantly updating FB with scores on hockey nights, his disbelief that I took a nap earlier since Trillian signed me out, Christmas carols, Matt A. (matt1993) NOT being my online boyfriend, his seeing MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 4 with Nathan and Raymond today at Silvercity Riverport mainly for the BATMAN trailer, and Walmart. Also discussed his possibly helping Jon move on Sunday, how he could stand seeing the same person twice in a day, his guitar and knapsack, the liquor store near our church, my being "drunk," STARCRAFT, SUNDAY, cooking the ham, and more. Once we got to church (saying hi to Sonya and Uncle Eugene on the way), we went into the kitchen to get the ham ready with honey glaze - he wanted to see my Dutch biscuits, so I let him. A while later, I did indeed go to the liquor store to get that Phillips Longbow chocolate porter - YUM!

Got back to church and read a Bathroom Reader for a bit after showing Eric the beer, then talked to Jeremy / Vivian L. / Raymond / Amanda / Victor (who said my Santa hat was Christmassy) / Daniel (who said Michelle and the baby are doing great!) / Kevin / Amy / Mike K. / Geoffrey / the "different woman" Teresa. We discussed teaching, napkins, teaching, work, Houston, the Evergreen Line, work, Christmas in Vancouver, garlic, Mr. Creep, Paul, some of the ham being like bacon, Tom Cruise, pumpkin pie, chiffon cake, vegetables (which I needed!), MissionsFest (I picked up a booklet for Chinese Eric), dipping biscotti / doughnuts in coffee, and cheesecake. Also talked about water, where I got the Dutch biscuits (London Drugs LOVES European stuff!), potato salad, Christon, Dawson Creek, mashed potatoes, Randal's rope and knots hobby, Blackberries, beads, bling, Christmas carols (ugh), Christmas Eve services, cleaning up, Jon and Harmony's new place, and more. Later, Mike K. and Jessica Leung offered me four gingerbread men, so I took those home along with some leftover ham and most of my biscuits. (they're relatively light!) Amy offered me a gingerbread HOUSE, but Mike said it wasn't "home-able," hahaha. I said bye to Adam on the way out, too.

Eric and I discussed his parents and Christmas, SOUTH PARK'S O HOLY NIGHT, pooping out your mouth and putting food up your butt, RED HOT CATHOLIC LOVE, the big giant head being gone, Margaret's guitar, CHRONO TRIGGER music, Christmas cheer, STAR WARS, and more on the way home. When I'd finished putting things away, I checked my phone and noticed a few missed calls from Chinese Eric. Thank goodness he got on MSN soon afterwards! He wants to come hang out tomorrow and watch the hockey game; that sounds good! Since he figures the mall is open late, he wondered if there were any good movies out - "we'll see about our mood after the game, hahaha." Apparently, he tried reaching white Eric, but Diven was with me all night! I reminded him again about my bowl when he wanted me to message white Eric beforehand - hahaha, okay then!

Peppermint ice cream, baby wipes, and Chinese Eric

I had a limited amount of money to buy stuff with (even less because of yesterday's Wal-Mart spree), but I managed to get paper bags / seasonal peppermint Island Farms ice cream / bananas / Chinese sausage / baby wipes (I'll accumulate stuff for any baby shower Harmony might have!) / spicy tomato juice / peach yogurt / chocolate almond milk when Barry picked me up. Actually, I spent less money today than last night - go figure! When I got home, I noticed a call from a blocked number, so I thought Chinese Eric might have called me. According to his mom, he was at the doctor's - sure, calling later will be FINE! I called Jon later, who says he and Harmony are moving on Sunday after church since the inspection was yesterday - I'll just give them more crap to move, hahaha. (talked to Teunis on MSN about Jasmine - WHO SHOULD GET A LIFE AND STOP READING MY POSTS! - and other things, too)

"I, Garland, will knock you all down!" / Strawberry Shortcake gum

Vanessa didn't want me to miss the hockey game against Carolina, but it's a lucky thing that it started at 4 since the Canucks are on a road trip. She went to pick up her mom and go to Zellers before picking me up at 6:45 to go to Walmart and Pho Lemongrass as a change from the usual Specialty Chicken and Wonton House, heh. The Canucks lost 4-3, though. We bought stuff at Walmart and the liquor store (where I was stymied by ID) first: wine, beer, coffee filters, chips (only $1), Lindt chocolate, massive one-pound Reese's peanut butter cups (I bought one for Julie C.), Ferrero Rocher, pads, chocolate mousse Jello cups, toothpaste, Juicy Fruit dessert-flavored gum (Orange Creme Popsicle, Strawberry Shortcake, and Apple Pie), Canucks stickers, Coke Zero, canned mushrooms, bacon, sour candy, "cool touch" Kleenex, and more.

Talked about Krista, Teunis, my family, Yaohan, Danny's Wonton House, Ironwood, Subway, Mexican food, Greek food, stupid "gay" notions, peanut butter allergies, meat, vegetables, pasta, Granville Island, Guinness, heavy chocolate stout, spaghetti, noodles, video games, Wayne, and other stuff. She thanked me for the cards and Almond Roca, saying I didn't have to. I know, but I like doing things such as that for people who deserve it! Julie is also surprised I bought stuff for her, so insists on reciprocating at Walmart or Metrotown, haha. (box of chocolates, haha) Candy says she got my Christmas card, too!

HAHAHA! Another classic line, this one from the FF1 Temple of Chaos! Too bad for him that it wasn't true, since I one-shotted him immediately afterwards!

Killer Bow Leet Haxor (FF2) / Lunar Phases / Live and Noah

Live (blackballoon) got my Christmas card and Vancouver postcard in Norway, so that's good! Noah M. (one of Kennedy's friends) added me to FB, so why not? Hahaha.

Skull buttons, waterfalls, and morbid Christmas tunes! (DONE FINAL FANTASY V ADVANCE!)

Eric bugged me on MSN about Friday and other things, haha. Of course I had to look up morbid Christmas tunes! Also, I finally finished FINAL FANTASY V ADVANCE, even with the stupid skull buttons and waterfalls!

De Ruiter Speculas biscuits better be good!

Vanessa and I are getting together tomorrow evening to avoid traffic, so I had to get her a small Christmas gift tonight, along with some brandy beans for Julie C. since we were discussing it via FB. If she says it's okay, I can trust her. Better hope her mom doesn't find out, though! Before I left, I noticed that the controls for my Visual Boy Advance seemed to be all set to the left CTRL pad (and would NOT be reset), but thought I'd figure it out later... a restart seems to have cured the problem. PHEW! At London Drugs, some lady seemed to be buying up a lot of flavored candy canes! I myself got dark truffle Almond Roca, Orangina, Maitre Paul brandy beans, Dutch de Ruiter Speculas biscuits (in case I do end up going to that potluck), and Waterbridge chocolate balls for the kids.

No Christmas carols! / Julie Stickers! / Rainbows

Eric sent us an Evite for the Fellowship Christmas Potluck; apparently, we're going to sing CHRISTMAS CAROLS after the dinner and dessert. REALLY, PEOPLE?! I know it's that time of year, but I REALLY HATE THEM!

In the mail, I got Julie's Christmas card... yay! She also included dog stickers, heart stickers, Easter stickers, that "Quit while YOUR pretty" souvenir, and some "recycling / environment" stickers! I also got the hydro bill, so I decided to exercise responsibility and pay it immediately. Vanessa also wants to go to Walmart tomorrow, so that should be good.

You Are a Rebel

You are both familiar with the dark side and totally comfortable with it.

You are an open, flexible person who is able to see the world through many perspectives.

Social graces don't come easily for you. You feel like many social rules are silly.

Skype, Ms. Cleo, job systems, and Johnny

Talked to James on YM for a bit while Corey was telling me on Skype about the job system in FFV / emulators / FINAL FANTASY IV and II US, and noticed that Johnny had unfriended me on Facebook - oh, religious people!

HAHAHAHA! FINAL FANTASY V has a "reference" to Ms. Cleo!

Illinois Christmas cards - WTF?! / Taboo discussion

Got Dawn and Eni's wedding invitation in the mail, along with a weird Christmas card from Illinois - WTF? Called Barry to set up a shopping appointment; my poor sleep schedule is going to suffer if it's at 11 on Friday, but at least the weekly tradition will be a go! I also called Jon, who said that he'd be at church on Sunday; now I actually have a REASON to go (besides giving stuff away to the kids and wearing my Santa hat while I do it), so my sleep schedule will suffer on Saturday, too! Hmm... should I just stay up a lot this weekend?!

Talked to Teunis a bit on MSN - apparently, Jasmine cut him off because my names list put her at risk. Somehow, I don't think that's the case even if she is / was suicidal! At least the Canucks played the Blue Jackets today, but lost 2-1 in a shootout just now. Also talked to Corey via Skype messages for a while, too. He says he got home on Saturday, so that's good news. :D

You Should Talk About Religion

You are the type of person who is interested in the deep philosophical questions in life.

You have no problem talking about religion, as long as all parties involved are openminded and nonjudgmental.

You believe in originality and tolerance. You think the world needs more diversity, not less.

You think religion can be a very fascinating subject to discuss. It's all about how you approach it.

MOTHER 3 and FINAL FANTASY IV done

This is late, but here's my proof that I finished MOTHER 3:

I know the timestamp doesn't "prove" anything, but the second save slot is one I made after finishing the game.

Proof that I finished FINAL FANTASY IV ADVANCE... the abysmally low game time is due to a code that I entered when starting the title:

Tagging pictures are NOT clutter! / Bras / SIMPSONS and Lix

David S. just earned himself an FB block because he called the OCDL pictures "stupid" and "clutter." Siobhan, Eric M., Scott M., and Angela S. were nicer about it... others have just untagged themselves, which is fine by me!

You Are Conservative and Professional

You are efficient and precise. You like to get down to business.

You are tactful and polite. You are well-bred enough not to offend anyone.

Focused and super-charged, your instincts are a good guide for your next step.
