Recalcitrant fruit and pretty fight sequences / Quizzes

had a lot of fun last night with the chocolate fondue..
certain fruits were recalcitrant, however.. oh well..
the guys definitely felt appreciated and loved by girls..
if Randal takes more than a year to finish my book, it is a good thing.. doesn't matter to me at all ;)
talking to my friends about a bunch of things was awesome..
watched the guys play video games later at Alan's.. that went okay..
pretty fight sequences made up for my boredom, haha..
Eric thanked me for staying so long.. not a problem for me!

Dreams of last week... blood and fingers

I dreamed on Friday night that I was sitting on the toilet, and bright red menstrual blood (sorry, menfolk) just started gushing out of me.. I COULD NOT STOP IT. It continued to gush as I went through the dream: all over me, my clothing, the bathroom, my sister, everything else.......... man, that was horrible!


Then again, the next night I had a dream that I was in a fight with my brother. I chomped off his finger and spat it out into the garbage bin.


Yes, I have a weird subconscious. :P



Anybody know what these mean? My sister thinks I'm crazy and need psychiatric help. :P

Friday Five.. who do YOU want to be?

I'd probably lift more heavy objects and take advantage of my new strength and power. (and actually help out the girls at Awana with the heavy boxes without having to be asked... unlike Sam, Chris, Eric, and Ben! :P )

I'm Elizabeth Fry.. she did so much to inspire other women to play a fuller role in society, and she reformed the British prison system too.

One that decreed tolerance and understanding for people with certain illnesses.

I'm on my own little planet (Planet Hamster? Hydro Flame Planet?) where only nice friendly people are allowed. They can have fights and arguments, but no long-simmering grudges that aren't resolved within a reasonable period of time. Music and books would also be a *huge* plus! :D


5. You have a clone standing next to you and it's going to work / school for you while you get to play hooky. What are you going to do today?

Well, I don't have to do either work or school... hmm. I'd go to certain places far away to visit certain Internet friends for as long as I or they like, while the clone would get stuck living my boring life / getting in fights with certain people. :P

Seeming distracted on the phone, dubious farting videos, and buckets of crap

I was SO tired and out of it on the phone last night..
he could tell I seemed distracted, too.. I need sleep!
spent time talking to Corey, Spoz, and Eric afterwards..
Eric and I made Friday plans, and discussed appreciation..
Corey linked me to certain dubious farting videos..
Spoz thought they were funny, and wondered where I came up with this stuff.. not me... my friends! :P
talked about my old computer being cursed by gypsies.. well, it was a 486.. so close enough ;)
his computer is a bucket of crap, but gets the job done..
also reminded me that now I could post on his forums..
definitely will find something to do with music first..
mentioned me on his blog today, too.. it's a good thing to read "cheers to the hamster" on a site, haha..
will certainly have fun and chocolate fondue tonight!

didn't do that much today, but managed to bug Steph..
talked for a little while to someone who may call me..
that kind of thing is always good to look forward to ;)
been doing an amazing number of things with this machine..
not sure I can call it a "temperamental beast" anymore..
no funny observations for today, so you'll have to wait!

Time with Grandma

spent a lot of time with my grandma this afternoon..
spoke more Chinese than I had in at least a few months..
she bought me lunch, Nin Jiom cough medicine, apple juice, and Chinese pastries.. even gave me $10..
at least I think she was happy that someone spent time with her, and talked to her.. it was interesting..
now I'm at my brother's.. things won't be too bad here!

Back online with new goodies!

Phew.. finally back online with a new computer, keyboard, mouse, and other stuff that Vernon installed on the drive / PC. (Mozilla, Nero CD burner, a DVD drive, etc.) Definitely very much appreciate it, because now it means I'm way more current than I was before! It's not a 486 anymore; if anything, it's more like a P4.. so now I can play around with more stuff than previously. :D

On Saturday at Awana, some of the teenage girls got Anita a card for her birthday.. when she opened it up, it laughed at her. (she's 30!) They got the idea to call her fiancé Jeff to have it laugh at him also, but he couldn't hear it. She thanked the girls for the card and gift of a little angel with a birthday cake, and also thanked me for my card.. she said I was the first one to wish her a happy birthday. (hey, it's what I do.. ;) ) We also saw Ethan and Seren for the first time in months.. it's understandable why they don't go to our church anymore, and we miss them. (they're so cute!)


On Sunday, Maisie called to say she was still up for going out to celebrate my birthday.. she felt bad for missing the real deal. When I saw Eric in the car, I told him about my weird dreams of the previous couple of nights. (Friday night, I'd dreamed that I was gushing blood all over myself / my clothes / my sister / everything else.. Saturday, I dreamed that I chomped my brother's finger off and spat it out in the garbage bin!) He thought that they were subliminal threats.. maybe, but we can blame my subconscious for any veiled threat! Talked to a few of my friends about various things: I was amused when Maisie thought Eric and I were going out because he goes to church with me and my family. (it wouldn't work too well if we did, even if we do spend some time together during the week!) Told her that my brother had introduced him to the church family. She didn't mind if Eric went along, so it was the Thai House instead of Quizno's. (he wouldn't be able to eat anything at the sub place) We definitely had a good time, and Maisie insisted on treating me. :)


Today, I was pretty excited since Vernon had told me that he'd be by tonight to hook up the new computer equipment. Spent the day thinking about three of my favorite people, haha.. not telling you who they are, unless you really want to know. ;) Called Sarah later to catch up with her a little.. she said Vernon would be along after he played some soccer. Vernon came by at 7:20, and told me all I needed to know about the new system. (gotta remember to manually update the virus things every couple of weeks!) He even bought me a new mouse, and refused payment for it.. instead, he wanted one of my mini Wunderbars. (of course!) He said I had a good memory when I remembered the phone number I use to dial in to my Net provider.. hey, it pays to know these things. ;)


So yes, right now I'm very happy. Going at 46.6 KBPS, which is better than 14.4. :D
