A&W Chubby Chicken / Greaseballs / KFC / Microphones

Went to visit Grandma and pick up the pants which Mom said she'd shortened - two pairs, which is fine. Tried them later, and they were the right length, anyway... PHEW! I wheeled Grandma closer to the big-screen TV so she could actually see the classic movie of the afternoon, and she wanted to know whether I was hungry so I could get stuff to eat from there. No, I definitely wasn't! I told her that Uncle Michael would come tomorrow, but she didn't say much to that beyond "Oh, we can talk then..." On the way home, I decided to pick up some A&W Chubby Chicken from the mall food court. I've never had it before due to a long-ago conversation (in 2000?) with Dennis, who described it as "feeling like greaseballs in the stomach," but it seems okay to me for what it is. Then I plan to have taro ice cream... or maybe the Peanut Butter Burst one! SO UNHEALTHY, HAHAHA.

When I got home, Vanessa got on MSN and said she was bored; I'm not the "online bowling" type of person, though! I still haven't found my microphone... it's been ages since I talked to Kenny on Skype, so that's why I don't remember where I put it! Probably near the stuff on the floor, however! While we talked about KFC / McDonalds / Church's Fried Chicken, I found out that Photobucket works again - GLORY, HALLELUJAH! I told Mom NOT to get into a loud argument with her brother in the middle of the nursing home, haha. We'll see what happens...

Seeing babies! / Mom and stress

Steph called at 6:30, stating that if I wanted to see the baby today, I should be out by 7. It was enough time for me to take a shower, call Chinese Eric to see if he was in (nope!), and get a tiny bit more done in Castle Fynn. Dad and Grandma picked me up, and we had to wait for Mom to get off work. Good thing I was tasked with looking after Grandma! Saw a very tired-looking Jon at Women's NICU, and the place still has the baby plaques that I remember from when a few of us visited baby Joshua years ago! I told Grandma that the baby was a boy, and she said "Good" in English, hahaha.

After talking about washing hands up to our elbows / wheelchairs / the birth / natural childbirth (some women are too small for it!) / C-sections (could have saved her a lot of pain!) / gallbladder surgery with Steph and Lisa, Peter / Holly / Auntie Wing / Uncle Joe / Myles / Brittney came in. It was good to see them! We talked about Jon not having much sleep over the past few days, the name of the baby, when they'd get to go home, scars, sibling affection, and such. I saw the baby for a few minutes: he was sleeping, and didn't seem to be hungry despite not eating a thing since birth! Mom took over holding the baby as soon as she saw him, and I told Brittney that there would be plenty of time later if I were to do that... Dad's not in a rush, and Steph thinks Mom is in love with the kid already! Holly was looking it up, and came across the girl version, which apparently means "oak tree." Haha! I think it will grow on me, although I'm not really a fan of most surnames as first names. At least it doesn't sound preppy! (pronounced EYE-ler) Jon thanked me for coming - of course! I'll figure stuff out later, since I may just bus to their place for babysitting or whatever.

Kenny, Guy Level 99 Magic glitch, and Against Me!

Talked to Kenny for a bit last night via Skype messages about transgendered people, ROLLING STONE links, Against Me! (the punk band's lead singer Tom apparently wants to be a woman named Laura?!), his being happy to be a man with the requisite parts, and implicit sexual behavior on his part. None of my business, but it's good to talk to him once in a while! Time to do my laundry now...


Why do Guy's first eight spells all require 99 MP to cast? This is a glitch for sure, since it should be ONE point as it is for the other eight!

9 AM pocket dials / CRABS / Skype and Kenny

When I got up, I was surprised this morning when my Caller ID said that Steph had called me at 9 AM, so I called her back to see what she'd wanted at that early hour. She insisted that she hadn't called me, but I said that my Caller ID said so. Then she concluded that she must have pocket-dialed me! We talked about court / our plans for the day / #9 with Rita on Tuesday / the whole "steady boyfriend" question, haha! I figure she assumed Steph was being smart! I then wondered what time Steph was going to Mom's tomorrow, but she asked what time it started.

When I found Mom's email, I told her that Mom was going to buy "CRABS, fish, and steak" for dinner. As Steph said, "I was like UHHH... CRAB is something you eat, and CRABS are something else entirely!" We should tell Mom, but she won't change! Steph will call tomorrow before she gets here at about 6:15 or so, which is fine by me. Hey, I can eat the yellow drippings again! (that'll make an interesting FB status...) Talked to Kenny via Skype messages about personal stuff, too. (I guess MAPLESTORY seems addicting...) After that, I decided to do some laundry before I ran out of things.

David Lee, Mad Greek plans, Kenny, minor mistakes, smartass remarks

Someone named David Lee tried adding me to Facebook; I thought it MIGHT be the one I knew from church a REALLY long time ago (but "David Lee" is a very common name!), but it wasn't. DENIED! Then it turned out to be Kennedy using her friend's account, and she tried dictating to me what I must do: "DON'T talk to Brandi anymore - she has no respect!" Hahahaha, like I'm going to give in?! You were grounded for a good reason, young lady.

After I had a much-needed nap, I got up to discover that Chinese Eric had tried calling me. Since I won't allow myself to ignore THAT at any time, I called him back. After he worked outside, he just wanted to let me know that his doctor's appointment had been moved, so he might be meeting me even later tomorrow evening. Hey, that's totally fine since it's not like we had a specific time in mind! I wondered if he could eat Greek food (although he was fine at Kalamata, now that I think about it) - he said as long as it wasn't too spicy or had too much lamb and stuff, it should be fine. Then he brought up Mad Greek when I was indecisive about restaurants or even going out to eat. It's VERY close by, that's for sure! Plan of action: He'll call or buzz me when he's about to leave from dropping his mom off and doing some stuff, and then I can call Mad Greek myself to see if it's pretty busy. Sounds good to me!

Vanessa got on MSN right when the first intermission started, so we talked about surprises / minor mistakes / Teunis / Krista / smartass remarks concerning gum and chewing / showers / cleaning up / being moody. Turns out Teunis unfriended me on Facebook because of that remark - hey, if you can't take snark about it, then you don't deserve to be my friend anyhow! Now, I don't have to keep his mail, not that he would want it! Of COURSE the hockey game went to overtime and a shootout... *grumble* Seven of the last thirteen games?! I hate shootouts... at least it was a 2-1 win over Phoenix. Cindy emailed me about the phone message I left yesterday, so PHEW! Phil has not called me back yet... ugh.

Benkai Ramen, processing things, and more

Talked to Teunis briefly on MSN before leaving. Well, I expected at least one announcement at tonight's sibling dinner... I didn't expect TWO! Now I'm just trying to process stuff. Jon, Lisa, Harmony, and Steph bugged me about Chinese Eric (WE HAD PIZZA AND WATCHED THE EFFING GAME!) and transit before we discussed Marble Slab right next door from Benkai Ramen, candy, coupons, moving, trauma, bus passes / transit, Halloween, babies, Angela and baby Caleb, crying / sleep, SPACE LORD, Saskatchewan, Regina, the parents' European trip next month, Grandma and respite, Mom's stockpiling everything for years, Uncle Joe's literal jaw-dropping reaction, Myles / Brittney, weight, sitting on people, Michelle scheduling her baby shower for 11 AM on Nov. 11 (oops), costs, Las Vegas, funds, parks, and more. It was nice seeing them again - of course I paid Lisa for the newest Bathroom Reader! SO MUCH CHANGE! Now, it's time for a Halloween-appropriate adult beverage like this bottle of Granville Island PUMPKIN ale! (talked to Kenny via Skype, too)

Debbie Schmidt added me to Facebook; I suspect she's from Our Place. After some looking around, I was right: she just goes by Debbie on there. Then Kennedy "Kenny Grace" M. added me, but she's from the Canucks FB fan page. The Canucks lost 3-2 tonight, too...

Sometimes they drop Dung, which you can leave with Wan Sum Dung in order to get five free experience points for your party! (I've received 10 or even 50 once when it was "premium high-quality" dung, haha)

NOT WELCOME HERE! / Major cleaning / Kenny gets it!

I left a message with Jon to say that Paul wasn't welcome here anymore, and since Paul had called, I returned that call with the same message. It was NOT "just a conversation" - leaving me pissed off and offended is NOT good, and he should know that. I came very close AGAIN to telling him to fuck off since his actions have a consequence! Apparently, I shouldn't have taken it so literally... *rolleyes*

I spent the next half hour cleaning and throwing things out like dispensed soap, detergent, a cup, cans, paper towels (after cleaning), the old bath mat / pouf, air freshener that he'd touched, and more. Sent a link to Kenny on Skype, who got a laugh out of the BS "apartment fire purpose" line! I think I'll replace the air freshener and the dispensed soap tomorrow!

My downtime was shattered at 8 PM when Paul called from SERVANTS (using Craig's phone) to say he'd be on his way home now; thank goodness he had to take the bus, otherwise I'd have been on edge more! Of course I don't answer phone calls from anyone during the day (Eric would say "all the time"), so that means Deb and Dylan were out of luck! As for their offer of Deb's air mattress from storage, I'll take it since then I don't have to worry about my couch! I swear, I'm turning into a germaphobe since I have been making plans to buy a new bathmat when this is all over!

Amanda, Andrea L., and William deleted their Facebook profiles too. When Paul got here, I was determined to just be myself... accomplished that quite handily by not giving him too much help with the wireless / places around here, telling him to PUT A SHIRT ON (I don't care how much artwork he has on his body!), saying that the window wasn't a "door," and generally being snippy. Complained to Kenny via Skype messages - thank goodness I didn't need to censor myself!

Man, the light bulb in my room just burnt out! Teunis just replaced it a couple months ago at most, too! Maybe I'll ask him to do that again on Thursday before we leave... eminently trustworthy!

Good times, although I definitely wouldn't say certain things in real life! But Skype is okay, as it gives me an outlet! Found out that William's deleted his profile again; oh well.

I asked Billie whether she'll be free on the 14th, and it looks like she will be after work - sweet! Ryan buzzed me on Facebook chat about spelling mistakes; poor guy! Later, I found a sticky substance (no idea what) in my Roots knapsack / on my PLUNGES INTO HISTORY AGAIN Bathroom Reader; EWWWWWWW! I'll have to buy the book again, though maybe not the knapsack! I had to throw out almost the entire contents (plus the knapsack itself), since I'm too lazy to wash it or whatever! (saved pens / whiteout / hand sanitizer / a calculator / hand cream) Good thing it's raining today, since I got more sleep than yesterday's gong show!

Kenny just called me on Skype briefly about LEAGUE OF LEGENDS and other things, haha. Called Hester since she'd called me - seems she's always calling from a really metallic place! She says that someone will be by to do something about mousetraps tomorrow afternoon at 1 or 1:30; we'll see how THAT goes since I'm cynical about it! Then I called Barry to finally set up an appointment... Friday at 1:30 sounds the best for my sleep schedule, since he originally wanted Thursday at 10:30! With the way things have been going lately, that wouldn't have worked out! Must bank and get stuff from the dollar store first - perhaps on Wednesday before the party.

Kenny said hi on Skype, and Mike T. buzzed me on Facebook chat to talk about grinding / WOW - haha, nice! Avoided something quite handily, too! Ryan M. (eyeheartnewlife) also called me sweet for caring about him - that's what I do for my friends, man! Went to Richmond Centre (just got the bus in time!) to browse Chapters briefly, then went to Sears and got some underwear. I saw a display of cheap Vancouver / Canada T-shirts at the dollar store, so I got one since those things have been sadly missing from my wardrobe for some years! After that, it was time for lunch at the food court, which now offers free wi-fi: New York Fries with butter chicken and root beer it was! I was glad to get home since it was hot outside! Called Mom to tell her that Teunis can't make it to Sunday's dinner because of an emergency. Of course she thought that I hadn't told Teunis earlier about Sunday's dinner with Nathan (*rolleyes*), and who also wondered how my relationship with Teunis was. I DON'T HAVE ONE WITH HIM, AND DON'T LIKE HIM THAT WAY ANYHOW!

Paid my phone bill as soon as I got it in the mail, since I'm responsible like that! Decided to join Kenny and his friends in a gaming / trolling Skype conference call because I could without complaints! Talked about Christmas music, TEAM FORTRESS, penis, vagina, DETACHABLE PENIS, drugs, height, Italian last names, my last name's pronunciation, Yahoo IDs, Wisconsin, Hotmail passwords, Hien, fried chicken, hand sanitizer, singing videos, adding Chris to FB, going crazy, and more. I'm not buying sea salt / malt vinegar chips again because THEY'RE TOO SALTY... yeah, you'd think I'd know that by the name! Finally finished the dungeons / space adventures and revenge projects - not sure what to do now, and also am not sure what I did before these things took over my life in late November / early December! o_O

Kenny, trolls, Trevor, Janina and surprises, dream of pizza hair products, and spheres

Talked briefly to Kenny on Skype yesterday about trolls / the free life / conference calls, then contemplated a TROLL BANNING project for the dungeons and space adventures. I decided not to go through with it because the list was simply way too long! Also discovered that Trevor has deleted his Facebook account again; he does this from time to time. Janina used FB chat to say that she sent me a surprise package, so I will definitely let her know when I get it! :D

Had a dream where I was shopping with Cindy; we discovered pizza-scented hair products, so we had to try those! I was also asked out via email by a band producer that I'd been getting to know: "Let's go out - $340 per band - good deal!" Then I was going to say yes, but then I woke up - not like that would happen, anyway!

Hung, Kenny, Teunis vacuuming, and Emily's chocolate / I'M FREE!

Hung re-added me to Facebook, so PHEW! Talked to Kenny briefly on Skype about Teunis, heh. I told Emily M. that I had some chocolate for her (and Nina and Gerard) if she was going to be around this Sunday - she will be, so IT IS ON! I'm getting sick of the chocolate Easter eggs I bought at Galloway's with Vanessa in May, anyhow! Plus I have a bunch of new Purdy's / Neilson's / Cadbury / Lindt chocolate to munch on. :D

Teunis came back at 9, saying he was exhausted from moving - I can sympathize! He says the elevator was broken down, so hauling his stuff up to the second floor was pretty draining and cost him a couple of hours... he did vacuum briefly, and said he hadn't eaten yet. Not surprised, actually. Of course, he returned the spare keys before going to the grocery store to buy toilet paper and other things that the new place is missing, but not after I made him sign the guestbook! Tomorrow, he actually is going to that Langley ren faire which we discussed the other night; not surprisingly, Kaili invited him! He says it'll be fun, so good for him! Teunis did recommend I bleach the fridge if I notice that things are going bad, so I did that with the stuff he gifted me with last summer; I'll just buy some more later. When he left, I finally got to test the air freshener that I got from London Drugs a couple of weeks ago: good thing they were only $1 each, because the Soothing Escape didn't spray properly! (maybe THAT was why they were so cheap, haha... but the Apple Cinnamon one was FINE!)

I didn't even think twice about having gum in my mouth when Teunis got home, and I plonked the guestbook on his table before I forgot (again), and asked him about cleaning the laptop screen or fan with special tools. Haha, it's definitely habit! We also discussed his laundry, the leftover filling soup, sounds, "GAME OVER" video game music, stress, rice crackers, sounds, pumpernickel bread, black forest cake, and more. Discovered redrum had (possibly) started, so told my sister that via another phone call, haha. Left messages with Kenny via Skype, and talked to Vanessa on MSN for a bit as well.

Talked to Kenny briefly via Skype messages, and discovered another random person wanted to add me on Facebook... NO WAY! Discovered that I had $7.10 in nickels and $1.80 in pennies - time to get rid of them somehow, since I'm too lazy to bank 'em. Maybe I'll spend them in restaurants since I don't think it'll be good to dump them on unsuspecting grocery stores! Heard that Andrew got married to Teresa, so it's a good thing for their upcoming kid and her kids too.

When Teunis finally got up at 2:35, we discussed mold (in Robin's washroom?!) / rot / towels / gum / slurping / Jordan / effects / Burnaby woods having mold / reactions / going walkabout / his showering and laundry / coughing / sniffling / lime / coconut (shavings) / pie / Sidekicks pasta / allergies and sensitivities / foiling Eric's phone calls AGAIN / OBLIVION / accidentally packing his double boiler / Yaohan / going over to Jazmin's tomorrow overnight to nerd out over the SIMS, of all things! We also discussed water, potatoes / carrots / onions / beets / kidney beans (IRON!) as dinner, the old-time radio shows, kosher Jewish wine, downtime, baseball, burgers, lettuce, frozen yogurt, grudges, not lying, and more. I emailed Cindy about lunch after tomorrow, too. Talked to Kenny briefly about phobias and trolling friends via Skype messages, which is always good.

Called Steph to tell her about the half-wine / half-water Roman combo - NO, I AM NOT DRUNK! She also told me that Mom's friend was Uncle Bick from Australia - OH YEAH, I REMEMBER HIM! James said hello to me in formal Spanish over YM, so I told him to drop the formality, hahaha! Talked about my alone time, his liking the SIMS, video game music, dessert, fried food, pumpkin / coconut creme / banana creme / apple / cherry pies, his bad day, Almond Joys / Bounty bars having coconut, Rocky Road, mailing stuff, GUITAR WORLD being way better YEARS ago, magazine subscriptions, and more. Amy Liao also unfriended me on Facebook, sigh.

Discovered that Adam has deleted his profile again, and Subena's thinking of doing the same since she has no time - okay, then! Kenny mentioned he hadn't seen me online in Skype for ages - haha, I know!
