Apparently, the random characters at the end of Photobucket uploads are a way to prevent "fuskering," and are the default for all new uploads. HOW ANNOYING... TOO MANY CHANGES! Adam and Andrew wishing each other a happy birthday via FB still cracks me up after a few years. They still live in the same house, but technology is cool for that kind of thing! I love these twins, even if they DID start out by calling me "Lassie" when they were ten. Ah, memories! Bad mood all gone now. :D A cute "online friends" picture that Kitty found: There are TWO heroes in Lifecod?! The elder says, "Eh... huh?! The hero is TWO PEOPLE?! Completely identical! Skull clouds, 6304 Sack Glitches, GOD!

These clouds are in the shape of skulls near Archfiend Mudo's castle at the beginning of the game!




While buying Antidotes in Lifecod and putting them in my Sack, I noticed a 6304 Sack Glitch! I don't think this has to do with codes, either.




Now every battle restarts?! Man, I gotta figure out what's causing this before I get to a boss battle where I can't just run away... o_O {I did... it was the "recruiting monsters" code, so I toggled it off}

After sprinkling Wake-Up Powder on the sleeping village of Noaniels in DRAGON WARRIOR III (to get rid of a curse from the elf queen), this woman asks if you heard her snoring while she was asleep. If you say yes, she says it's embarrassing!

Istory Falls GLITCH / Billie at Oakridge / HE IS A SHE!

The game glitched out on me AGAIN after Istory Falls - the submarine wouldn't submerge into the water, the World Map didn't work, and there were no random encounters. At least I managed to find a save file with maximum money AND items... *sigh* Here's hoping the random encounter tiles on the Big Bridge are the same as last time!

Made plans for this Sunday at Oakridge with Billie - we're getting together at the early hour of 11 AM, but that should be okay as long as I set my alarm for the usual time so I can get some stuff in before I leave at 10:30! Good thing I only go to church about half the time these days, anyhow. Yes, this means I'll be eating at White Spot twice in two days; I've done it with Pho sometimes, but Pho is more appetizing and budget-friendly than White Spot!

FINALLY got all monsters on the Big Bridge in Galuf's world... they can be easily missed due to the stupid random encounter tiles, so the ROM change was what I needed. (Merrow, Flying Killer, Little Chariot, and Neo Garula) Now, as long as time doesn't run out in the sunken Tower of Walse while Famed Mimic Gogo blathers on! "You uncultured boors! Know you nothing of an artist's soul? Cut! Cut! Stop TRYING to mimic! Start over, recenter, and begin!"

Pirates getting seasick / ROM restarts are ANNOYING!

Had to do laundry today; bloody hell! Mom said that they could pick Eric up at about 5:10 tomorrow for the baby banquet, and then pick me up soon after - I guess that works! Now, to see if Eric is going to get on MSN tonight, haha. Had to restart FFVA yet AGAIN - this time on a different rom file altogether - because of the stupid random encounter tiles on the Big Bridge being the same as last time and NOT WORKING! If this doesn't work, I'm glad I have a complete bestiary code for my photo albums! (also got INTERESTING news from James just now, har har)


A pirate who still gets seasick!

Finished purging! / Random encounter tiles! / Inner strength allows me NOT to struggle!

I finally finished the Facebook photos and notes "purging / re-tagging project" at 2:25 AM, which would have been about an hour sooner were it not for an Internet outage! The photo albums weren't so bad since I was done with them in a couple of hours on the first day, but I had written about 610 notes since October 2007, and had to edit a majority of them for paragraph issues as well! That took about four days or so, with no gaming breaks!

The notes about Korey made Randal think I was struggling with that, so he left some religious-based comfort on my FB wall; I know he means well, though. Trust me, I've found enough inner strength to deal with it in the last four years! If I were truly struggling, I wouldn't have the strength to even OPEN those! However, he IS right in that I'm struggling with some totally unrelated issues - James, for one!

Now I can get back into gaming! But I had to restart the game AGAIN (seven and a half hours in) because of the stupid random encounter tiles with totally missable enemies (Merrow / Flying Killer / Little Chariot / Neo Garula) on the Big Bridge in Galuf's world after Exdeath's castle - no amount of swearing is enough to convey my frustration!

Josh, NO SLEEP, skin, G as Q, church reluctance

Josh buzzed me on AIM last night to say that he saw my postings in Random Thought. Then I got virtually no sleep, getting up at 5:30 and then 6:30 after going to bed at 1. If this is my subconscious getting under my skin to GO TO CHURCH, I GET IT. Now just shut up so the next couple of weeks can be quiet and free. :P (seriously, I think I'll need something stronger like orange vodka screwdrivers!)

Also talked to Chris W. and Chrissy about stupid idiots who type "g" as a "q" - it's damn fucking annoying, even if it IS black slang! Called Eric to make sure he knew I was (reluctantly) up for church, but got his mom Veronica on the phone instead. Said hi to her, and then got him on the phone. I made sure to ask whether he was doing anything after church that I should know about; apparently, he's having lunch with a bunch of Daniel people. Since I have a metric fuckton of candy in my fridge to give out (and I really should empty the fridge), I decided to go anyway. He said that I could get my own lunch... well, there goes that $100 bill!

Epic good timing / Magic Radimvice Den / Another 4-2 loss

Woke up with about an hour to spare till the weekly tradition, and thought I could just have a solo Hero in the Den of Radimvice to cast magic only. We'll see how that pans out later tonight! I heard that Subway is having $5 footlongs again, so maybe I'll get one tomorrow. Vented to James and FFAF, then talked to Talia on AIM - not too bad! Steph and Lisa bumped into Mom and Dad at the border crossing this afternoon, but it was a good thing I didn't go to the States. TOO MUCH STUFF GOING ON! DAMMIT. I left to go do something important (and EPIC with good timing), and get back to the score being 1-0 for the bad guys with 8.6 seconds left. UGH. GO CANUCKS GO! You haven't been down 2-0 in a series since 2001! But they are now, since the Kings won the game 4-2, courtesy of two shorthanded goals by Dustin Brown. Sounded pretty brutal. *sigh* History shows that they've never come back from the deficit. :(

KING SLIME! / Chinese Eric / Melissa / EPIC!

I finished that 200g rice crisps-filled bunny at 8, and then called my favorite person (for real) Chinese Eric; of course I wished Auntie a Happy Easter when she said it to me! I told Eric a shortened version of why I didn't go to Easter service today (Paul's baptism / my feelings - HE understands!), and said that 6 tomorrow should be fine for picking me up. Even if it's early, we can chill and talk here for a bit. Yes, he can definitely hear the extended version tomorrow, and I definitely wished HIM a happy Easter also! Time to use two of my Easter cards on him and Chrystal! Someone named Melissa Tsang (one of Jessica G.'s friends) wanted to add me on Facebook; I DON'T THINK SO! Unrelated to that, I AM EPIC AS FUCK. :D

Listened to the Fox's INDIE NIGHT IN CANADA show last night; they have a feature called "When They Were Indie," and it just happened to feature MATTHEW GOOD off EUPHONY! YAY! Got an offline MSN message from Corey (sent at 5:25 AM) about the Angry Video Game Nerd and his Power Glove Review, and how it was better than the NES Accessories Review - I'm on it! Went to the library to return my library books, then went to Purdy's in the mall so I could get three-packs of Hedgehogs and peanut butter eggs. Marshmallow eggs were also on special, but I didn't need those. At the bus stop, I could clearly hear some guy's iPod from a foot away: it was playing Metallica's ONE.

Discovered the start of redrum, as well as some sound / graphics glitches in my DRAGON WARRIOR 3 game; those also somehow catapulted my Hero to Level 99! I also defeated SEVEN Metal Slimes thanks to the "BE DRAGON" code! Wish I had a screenshot of that... but I do have one of my being Romaly's King after I defeated the thief Kandar in the Tower of Shanpane!
