Cleaners, foreign thanks, siege lifting, weight amusement, inclusion, and NO BOWLING!

When Teunis got home, I had him help me open the Clorox cleaners before I gave him one Cadbury's premium dark chocolate bar and the "new home" card with gems on the front. He bowed and said his foreign thanks, hahaha. We also discussed downloading / testing games, a Japanese raccoon movie, the gradual emptying of my living room, contacting the manager Hester, Internet access, money, rent, and duct tape. Conversed about packing, his portable closet, mail, finishing the yummy mango cheesecake, his server noise, clothes, onions / garlic / bad breath, the Hague, oils, the laptop battery / power adaptor, computer mice, his mom and Jim, taking pictures of Kaili and Jordan, bottled water being "evil," wireless networks and keys / passwords, carrots / potatoes / onions / beets (and their power to STAIN!) as our Last Supper, and more. He described dinner as "something to celebrate the lifting of a siege, although there was no real villain in this one." That, I can live with. He was amused because his 50 pounds of weights in a small bag were half the recommended load for his dolly, hahaha.

Eric got on MSN to bug me about his telling Christon that I would indeed go bowling tomorrow. After I'd expressed my rage and frustration over that, he retracted that and said he didn't actually do so: "I just told Christon that you weren't coming, so it would just be me." He thinks that I'm being "a silly willy" about it, but I AM NOT! I don't want to look like an idiot, although he thinks that hanging out over dinner and chatting would be inclusive. Not if it's on the way to something which WON'T include everyone! He also bugged me like this: "turn down the BREATH OF FIRE walkthrough - I can't hear you." HA HA HA! I wasn't even PLAYING one!

HIGHWAY TO HELL, coconut, "ugfart" NOT Steph, James, and Chinese Eric

Teunis got home just as AC/DC's Highway To Hell started playing on the radio - haha, that's appropriate in a silly way! I gave him his mail and opened my envelope to discover a new chip-enabled debit card... NICE! He says he wasn't aware that I disliked coconut, and said it would have been fine to tell him that... he can enjoy the rest of the pie, then! Called Jon to see how he was going to get to the dinner - they're going to bus it, which is fine. He also asked where I'd been for the past couple of weeks; haha, sleeping in! (says I was lazy) I called him an ugfart, which for some reason made Teunis think I was talking to Steph - haha, WHAT?! Funny, even though he's used to me calling Steph that. I say he's used to my calling Steph an "UG," which is slightly different. ;)

Then I called Mom to see where the dinner was since Jon didn't seem to know - she wanted to know whether I'd reminded Jon to call her about Harmony's massage. HOW WOULD I DO THAT WHEN I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT?! NO LOGIC! She also said that the black forest cake had caused the black poo last year, since none of the food at the restaurant had been black; somehow, I don't think so! I guess we're doing Lin's again, and I have to accept a ride from them. It better be bearable, anyway. Teunis and I discussed work, hamburgers, chocolate eggs, music, the arts, Jim, a song called NEVER SET THE CAT ON FIRE, his mom's birthday tomorrow, and more. Talked briefly to James on YM about Pho and Subway, who was early at about 9:20 PM, hahaha. Then I talked to Chinese Eric on MSN, which is always good: monster amounts of change / Pho, chicken wings, spring rolls, taxes, his actually going to Pho Cao Van with old co-workers, visiting his grandma, checkups, thanking me for caring, being a good friend, hanging out with Nate, Jon / Harmony, his strength / health, feeling sleepy, and more.

Uncle Daniel is not Uncle Andrew, hahaha! / Corey agreement / Stress

Talked to Chinese Eric briefly this afternoon about Nathan and hanging out while he's here, haha. Apparently, Eric tried to reach Nathan with no luck; I'm not surprised! Also discussed his health, doctors, sodium, spicy foods, white meat, diet, Sean, Uncle Andrew / the dentist not being Uncle Daniel, being good to see everyone again (maybe at church?), and more prior to his heading out. I exchanged a few crazy emails with Corey in Taiwan, who does agree! When Teunis got home at 7:45, we spent some time talking about Kaili / his stepdad Jim / concern / no food / sickness / sleeping in / feelings / cream cheese / peanut butter / rye crackers / chocolate eggs / soreness / noodles / stress / paying prices / his PURITY Canadian cookbook / "endless" video game music and hockey commentary / pagan music / THE JOY OF COOKING / dinner / losing it / crying / burgers / safety / Andrew being brash / sleeping over at Jazmin's on Monday / Fort St. John / Krista / being here too long.

Gyoza, dumplings, perogies, GOBLIN TOWN, Jose, Cake, Warrant, and James

Teunis and I discussed waffles, pancakes, recipes, ingredients, Jordan / Scott / Alicia / Andrew all being from Fort St. John, different words for snow, getting gas, chewing, traffic noise, maple syrup, De Dutch, Tolkien's GOBLIN TOWN (a nasty brutal song from THE HOBBIT which I'd apparently like), and chocolate eggs. We also talked about hot and sour soup, seaweed, not looking forward to stuff, potato dinner, people named Jan / Michel / Johann / Jose / Jesus, WOW, Kaili / DIVINITY 2 as an offline game, trends / conformity, his stepdad Jim, dumplings / perogies, using the Japanese word (GYOZA) for said dumplings (?!), Ukranian friends, tech support, stress, potatoes / nightshade / belladonna, and more. Then I got to talk to James on YM for a while about a variety of subjects like Cake / Warrant / personal stuff - always a good thing!

"Why are there ads in your yearbook?!" "There's nothing wrong with 24 pages!"

Before I left for the Awana BBQ, Teunis and I discussed Andrew having to work at 5 AM / gum / timing / Kaili and scheduling / geeky Washington Ren Faires, spaceships / QUAKE / DOOM / his brother Alex moving up north to Fort St. John with his family / his stepdad Jim feeling better. When Benedict picked me up, we discussed leaders / the iffy weather / Billy W. / Danny / Grace / Martin / Brighouse Elementary construction / funny jobs as your old teacher's replacement / the stale job market (grad in forestry is flipping hot dogs at Costco?!) / hockey news / Philadelphia and Chicago staking it all on draft picks / the Canucks getting some black guy. At church, I figured I should have brought a jacket since it was cool out. Since there was no real program aside from eating and having fun, I discussed various things with Chris / Victor / Cynthia (Burnaby North grad with yearbook!) / Julie / Hilary / Margaret / Danny / Elaine / Sarah / Auntie Vivian / Jessica / Lawrence / Alan / Stanley / Eric T. / Golden / Sylver / Phoebe / Zoe / Antony / Steven / David.

I had a "WHAT?!" reaction to the news that Julie wants to name her future son Phoenix, to which Margaret just pointed to me as proof that it shouldn't be a name. We had spicy veggies, and Hilary didn't seem to like them - everyone had some chips / hot dogs / chicken wings / graham crackers / marshmallows / chocolate chips / Smores, though! Stanley had an iPhone shirt on, haha. There were various jokes in Chinese, but everyone was having (immature) fun! Everyone was looking at Cynthia's yearbook - we saw William, Steven, Rick (Jennifer's son looks MANLY now?!), and others in there as well. Stanley didn't like the idea of there being 24 pages of ads (even though they PAY some costs) in the yearbook, so polled everyone as to whether there were ads in THEIRS! There's a VBS orientation tomorrow, but since I never said I was going to help, I won't go.

Saw my grandma at church, so offered her graham crackers and some marshmallows; she took the crackers, but seemed ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIED at the marshmallows, hahaha. Some of us checked out the painting going on upstairs - Cordia and Uncle Rex were helping with some white ocean waves! (I talked to Jeremy Y. and his parents, too - said hi to Vivian / had fruit) Eventually, Auntie Vivian kindly drove me home since nobody was going to Richmond - we talked about ordering things from Awana, my family, and other things.

Feisty escape, emailing Mandy, and animals in deep space

High-scoring word of the night:

FEISTY (3190 points) - against Laurie S. [two 3W, two 5W - one used twice, hook off LOPE for a plural] {a good deficit-erasing word!}

Trivia fact for Monday, Sept. 27: What were the first animals to fly into deep space and circle the moon? Two tortoises, in September 1968. The steppe tortoises were aboard the Zond 5, the Soviet Union's unmanned spacecraft, when it made its circumlunar flight and then returned to earth.

Rice, Alice Cooper, stories, Cirque du Soleil precision, and Yahtzee

When Teunis and I got home, we spent some time discussing the dinner and dessert. I offered him a bunch of rice for later use, and he didn't seem to mind taking it. Talked about the MUPPET SHOW, exes, birthday celebrations, SESAME STREET, Robin, "bad" stories, videos from a moon, Friday plans, R.E.M. / SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE, "quiet and cheerful" Cirque Du Soleil (respect for costumes / timing and precision on the musicians' part as well as the performers' part / clothes / clowns / juggling (balls / knives / fire / broadswords?) / mockery / Lady Gaga and Isabel's opinion of the visual effects), Jim Henson (Guinea!) and respect for reaching people, racism, learning, and more. Also discussed Google / Youtube / Eiffel 65 / Iron Maiden, TRUE punk music, Kate Bush / influence / musical experiments and styles / Peter Gabriel, Martha Stewart / the Cookie Monster, cool coding, SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE, running, pacing, history, neat facts about metal, castles, testosterone, beats, my somehow accidentally kicking the power supply / router which is as far back from me as you can get without hitting the wall, Man o' War, Metallica's WHISKEY IN THE JAR, and more.

Trivia fact for Thursday, Sept. 16: What was the original name of the popular dice game Yahtzee? The Yacht Game. It was invented by a Canadian couple who played it with guests aboard their yacht. In 1956, they asked toy salesman Edwin S. Lowe (who had developed Bingo) to manufacture copies to give as gifts for their friends. Lowe convinced them to sell him the rights to the game. The price - one thousand copies of the game.

High-scoring words of the afternoon:

INSERT (160 points) - against Nikki H. [two 5W, hook off YEAST for a plural]

Discussed the sound from the speakers breaking up because of a rather heavy load on the computer - compiling Google Chrome will probably do that! Also talked about his mom / stepdad / tractors / heavy-duty mechanics / kidney sickness, Lordi / GWAR / Eurovision / zombie cheerleaders, a silly kids' music video featuring fun pirates, a lightning bolt instrument (as loud as a plane taking off), and my computer somehow erasing a lot of what I'd typed. ANNOYING!

Rainwear, hats smelling like smoke, WANTON not being WONTON

High-scoring word of the morning:

RAINWEAR (192 points) - against Sandra T. [two 4W]

Got Candy's package today - the only problem is that the Manchester United hat smells like cigarette smoke. Oh well, Candy doesn't have to know that I won't be giving it to Steph (or keeping it) for that reason, haha. Although a quick search shows me that I could just leave the thing out in the sun, if I don't trust the smell to air out by itself in five months' time!

Checking my email trash for something else, I also see that Mom wants to give me three more shorts - it's only good if they're a dark color, because I lost two pairs this past week (including the one she gave me last week) to the black menace! She's also looking into booking the Okanagan trip for me and Grandma - it most likely would be the week of August 7 to 14; two or three days maximum during that week. Of course, the first thing I think of is how the hell I'm going to catch up on LJ and FB when I'm back, unless the hotel has Internet access. At least my grandma is very unlikely to come down to the computer room and yell at me to go to bed, as my mom did in October 2006!

From said email: "The hairdresser next to New Jim Wanton is closed on Tuesdays..." (emphasis mine) HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! On another note, Teunis needs to tell me when he decides to get up, otherwise he'll be giving me a heart attack when I hear noises in the kitchen! :P

This result makes me think of the Green Day song Walking Contradiction:

You Are a Contradiction

People accuse you of having a split personality, and it's completely true.

There are two completely different sides to you - as opposite as night and day.

At times, you are highly social and gregarious. But sometimes, you can be the biggest loner around.

Sometimes you are serious and studious, but other times you are carefree and wild. You're hard to predict!

FEZ (172 points) - against Deni L. [4W, hook off SAWED to make FE / ED] {crazy homemade board}

NONMEAT (1584 points) - against Michael H. [two 3W, two 4W]
GARROTER (112 points) - against Tracy W. [two 3W]

When Teunis got up, we discussed not being able to sleep, classes, physics, math, being out tomorrow, funny quotes, applications, Windows bugs, Linux, Adobe Acrobat Reader, pink cars being the least likely to get stolen, sourdough, and the kale / potatoes / garlic / onion dish in the fridge which will keep for a couple of days since there are no eggs in it. I had to do my laundry today after the past few days of merely thinking about it, to be sure.

Also discussed funny stuff, the economy, strange dreams, BIOSHOCK being a messy game (saving or killing mutilated little girls?!), Alex Haird being annoying, superhero trailers, and the Backstreet Boys as the Backdoor Boys. Kenny says that my Skype news is good (no more randomly restarting computer!), and that's he's always online for that. Sounds good to me... maybe tomorrow! :D

Got this cute panda tagging picture from Hannah Wong's friend Michelle:

TONALLY (260 points; 5W, 2W), IXIA (two 4W, hook off TONALLY to make ATONALLY; a good deficit-erasing word!) - against Doris D.

Teunis unexpectedly obliged me by arriving 90 minutes earlier than the time I told him that he could optimally be here. Discussed the Ren Faire, Clinton, computers, efficiency in fewer trips, storage, applying to the Surrey campus of Kwantlen (and the route there from here should things with Rhiannon not work out the way he wants), anger management via WORLD OF WARCRAFT account renewal, routers, pronunciation of Dutch words in English, baking bread, ingredients, Kailee eating out much of the time, lifestyle differences, oil, and everyone's reactions last night to his getting turned back at the border.

Also talked about power adapters, wireless devices, Staples, spare keys, shopping, vegetables, cheese, hunger, the car making things easier, gas, his sensitivity to cigarette smoke, Hester thinking he was moving in, speakers, doing laundry at Kailee's, coinage, AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER, eggs, yogurt, sausage, green onions, bean sprouts, the military bed, egg liqueur (what he'd like to introduce me to), my double chocolate stout, the liquor store, light bulbs, and more. I think Chrystal may have called me from work. I'll just assume we're still on - despite what her mom said yesterday - and see what happens later!

Noticed that Golden is on Facebook again - yay! I was going to ask him about it this weekend, but didn't. Jen also sent us an Evite to her drinks-themed birthday party, which is apparently only lasting an hour on Sunday... haha, NICE! I'll see what Eric says about it - guess I will have to call him before Thursday, or keep an eye on the replies! Of course, it is after the retreat, so I dunno. The Canucks eliminated the Kings 4-2, thanks to three comeback goals... now they face either Chicago or Nashville in the second round! WOOHOO!

Corey told me: "I just ate lunch, and I went to a class (just watching) this morning. There was an earthquake, too... it shook the building gently for about 20 seconds? I don't know if it was worse somewhere else, but it was incredibly mild for us... nothing moved around or anything. Wow, 6.9 earthquake - that's a lot bigger than I thought! :P But it was in the southeast. (we're in the northwest) Well, it said this happened in the northeast Philippines.. so a big earthquake, but it wasn't close to us here. But that means the earthquake shook the entire country and ocean, and probably a lot of the Philippines, too! :P So... I'm glad the center of it was somewhere else. :P

"On an unrelated note, I just had a whole mango. Mangoes are good... most of the ones we get are from the Philippines. They're a bit different in Taiwan (there are Philippines ones here too, though)... pretty good stuff. There's mango drinks and stuff too, which are also very good."

Erasing deficits, surprising people with Chinese, and Irish snacks

High-scoring words of the night so far:

YAUPON (117 points) - against Jim V. [two 3W] {good deficit-erasing word!}

Before I left for the library, I told Corey that I had finally mailed his thing to him on Saturday. He said he had to mail mine soon, too. Then he said that he'd surprised random girls and Jane with his knowledge of Chinese, haha. Sounds good to me!

[16:52:16] AlenaBrolxFlami: by the way, I finally mailed your thing on Saturday afternoon, using AIR mail :D
[16:53:44] mrptptpt: well, I need to mail your thing. I even braved buying one of the things myself without Jane's help, and the girl was afraid to talk to me, but I used Chinese at the end and surprised her, ha :P
[16:55:04] AlenaBrolxFlami: hahaha, that's super!
[16:58:38] mrptptpt: I surprised Jane, too. I saw a girl with lots of tattoos and piercings and stuff, which is literally the only person like that I've ever seen in Taiwan, so I said she probably listens to better music, and I should go talk to her. Jane said "go ahead," thinking I couldn't... but I asked if she spoke English, in apparently perfect Chinese (I'm perfect if you limit it to one of the few sentences I know really well :P) ... and Jane had never heard me ask anything like that before, so she was shocked :P
[16:59:38] AlenaBrolxFlami: HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Harmony says she can't make Women's Group tomorrow because she and Jon got tickets to see a play with an out-of-town friend. Fair enough, and I was in the shower when she called me back!

There's a hobbling triad with a lid, people!

High-scoring words of the night so far:

HOBBLES (239 points) - against Leah D. [2W, 5W, hook off QI and PIS to make PE and QIS]
PAGER (233 points) - against Angelique G. [two 5W]
OPENEST (3226 points) - against Shelley R.-B. [2W, two 4W, two 3W]

Interesting rack of the night so far: LIDTRIAD (against Angelique G. - read that as "lid triad")

I also played QIS off my own QIS in a game with Leah D. - yay for quirky coincidences!

Apparently, Harmony's coming to the townhouse for a steak and lobster dinner tomorrow night.

It's okay if you're gay if you pretend we're going to get engaged!

This thing just restarted - AGAIN!

These are from my copy of America's Dumbest Dates: Over 500 Tales of Fumbled Flirtations.

Undercover Investigations

"What I learned from Dwayne's boat is that it's possible to make love while you're seasick." - Brandy, age 24.

"He always sleeps at my place. He keeps a toothbrush and fresh underwear there. But he won't wash a dish, change a lightbulb, or take out the trash. He eats, makes love, sleeps. Showers. Uses all my stuff. And when he leaves, he takes the newspaper with him." - Leslie, age 26.

"Right in the act, Sheila bit my lips. Hard. I mean, chewed on them. The woman drew blood." - Austin, age 44.

"Stacey wouldn't stay over unless I changed the sheets. She made a fuss about it, so I pulled last week's sheets out of the laundry and put them on the bed. She said I had to change the sheets. She didn't say the sheets had to be CLEAN." - Neil, age 21.

"Jim was a magician. Every place we went, he performed. At the hockey game, he entertained the bleachers before the game. At dinner, the whole restaurant. Theater. We never had a conversation. It was always a show. Unfortunately, bed was a show, too. Now you see it, now you don't." - Barbara, age 41.

"When she fell asleep, Eileen wrapped her body around mine in a stranglehold, like a python. I was afraid to move because I didn't want to wake her up. But I finally had to remove her, peel her limbs off me one by one so I could move. No sooner had I freed myself, rolled over, and settled down than she slid across the bed and engulfed me again. At one point, she was lying on my face. I had to force her off me just to BREATHE. Of course, she remembered none of this. She said she had a great night's sleep." - Mort, age 30.

"Before he would come to bed, Trent had to brush his teeth. Then he used his Water Pik. Then he gargled. I lay there, listening to him complete his program of oral hygiene. This was NOT a turn-on." - Taylor, age 31.

"We're all undressed, beside the fireplace. I think we're going to make love. He pulls out his backgammon set and asks me if I've ever played nude backgammon. Apparently, there's nothing like it." - Pam, age 25.

"Seth had no sex appeal. He was a sweet guy, so I kept on TRYING to be attracted to him. But the more I tried, the less I was. He bent over backward to please me, said he'd do anything I wanted. Which is part of the reason he had no sex appeal." - Kate, age 36.

"She emails me sexy messages to my office. My secretary howls, and passes them around." - Conrad, age 33.

"I'm taking a douche in his sink. All of a sudden, the sink comes out of the wall and crashes to the floor, with me in it. He and his roommate hear the crash and come charging in, saying: "What's wrong? What happened?" I'm lying on the floor with my pants around my ankles, my behind in what's left of the sink on the floor. Not to mention the water or the pipes." - Latisha, age 23.

"She passed gas and ran into the closet, hid behind the clothes, and refused to come out." - Harry, age 28.

"We're reading together in his room. His roommate and his girlfriend start making loud panting noises in the next room. Then they start groaning, moaning. She's screaming his name. Then she's just screaming. He said to ignore it; they weren't really having sex. They were just trying to encourage us to have it, to get us in the mood." - Laura, age 20.

"We went out to the country and parked along a river. The car got steamy, so she opened her window, and - instantly - 94,000 mosquitoes flew in. By the time she could roll it back up, the car was infested, and we both had bites from head to toe. I took off, driving like crazy, stark naked, opening the windows and hoping the air would push them out. She was screaming. I was swatting. I had bites on my butt, my eyelids, my mouth, places I don't want to talk about." - Randy, age 21.

"We'd made love and I was about to roll over and go to sleep when Ben got out of bed, knelt, and said his good-night prayers. I guess it was charming. But it sort of surprised me. I felt kind of out of place; I didn't know if I was supposed to join him, or what. I pretended to be asleep." - Charlene, age 31.

"The next morning, as I'm waking up, Mel asked me if I'd mind if he cross-dressed." - Mary Beth, age 28.

"Lying in bed, Lois asked me if I was rich. I told her I wasn't. She sighed and was quiet for a while. Then she said, "I guess it's all right. Rich guys are mostly jerks, anyhow." I was falling asleep when she spoke again, and asked whether I thought I *might* get rich, someday." - Keith, age 28.

"Bob and I waited a long time before we actually went to bed. Tension built up and I was nervous. Clumsy. My hands were clammy; I fumbled and got the zipper stuck on the fabric, and I got a hook caught. I bumped teeth with him, moved the wrong direction, had no rhythm, no coordination, no grace at all. He finally managed to get the deed done, but I was afraid it was so bad that he'd lost interest. I looked at him and he burst out laughing. Rolling. He laughed: "Well, Rachel, at least the first time is out of the way." Tears came out of his eyes." - Rachel, age 31.

"Anna is tiny. Petite. A pixie. But when she sleeps, she snores like a freight train. No, more like a charging rhino. It's sudden; the whole bed shakes. Hell, the whole HOUSE shakes. And then, it subsides gradually, so you drift off to sleep again, and then - bam! - here comes the rhino again. She has no idea. I asked her if she knew she snored. She got offended - I mean, seriously mad." - Brad, age 29.

"Stan said he wanted to brush my hair. I thought, How sweet. But he meant ALL my hair." - Adrian, age 22.

"Martha sleeps with a pile of pillows between our heads. She makes love with her head turned away, and tells me never ever to breathe on her face." - Jonathan, age 27.

"Trevor loved his dog; maybe I should feel complimented that he talked to us both in the same way: Sit. Lie down. Roll over. Come." - Liz, age 38.

"Quentin talks in his sleep. I don't mean grunting and mumbling. I mean he talks. He says bizarre things - sits up and announces a baseball game, play by play. Tells unseen drivers to get off the road. Answers me if I talk to him, and ALMOST makes sense. I'll ask him if he closed his car windows, if he wants me to set the alarm, or if he's still awake. He answers: "Yes, sure." I've asked if he actually has no idea what I'm saying because he's sound asleep, and he's said: "Yes, sure." When I'm staying over there and can't sleep, I talk to him. It's quite entertaining, and beats counting sheep." - Myra, age 32.

"Ed does not sleep. When I spend the night, it's awful. He tucks me in and sits at the computer for an hour or two, messes around in the kitchen, does his laundry, vacuums, watches TV. He says he needs only three or four hours of sleep a night, that he does his best work when others are sleeping. I, on the other hand, need three days to recover for every night I spend with him." - Clara, age 40.

"As he was about to come, William yelled in my ear: "Tally ho!" In falsetto." - Alexis, age 33.

"It was our first time together. I was nervous, and there was no chance I was going to have an orgasm. But Jeff wouldn't let himself until I did. It was a matter of pride. I told him that it was okay, that I'd be more relaxed next time - just go for it. But no. He's relentless. He works. He tries this. He does that. I'm dying, embarrassed... and the more he tries, the less chance there is of it happening. Meantime, the man is sweating. Sweat is literally raining onto me, into my eyes, my mouth - I'm drowning in it. I figure it's a matter of survival, so I scream, I shake, I tremble, I moan. He grins. He's real proud of himself, When it's over, he sighs and says he told me that he could do it... and never to doubt him again." - Paula, age 29.

"She wanted me to videotape us in bed. She got out her camera and tripod, and set everything up. This was fine with me until she laughed: "Someday, when you're famous, I'll be able to blackmail you." She swore she was joking, but that was the end of that." - Paul, age 27.

"He read an article about women faking orgasms, and bragged to our friends that no one's ever faked with him. He has no clue. I'm good. I'm real good." - Randie, age 28.

"I told Margaret I was gay. She said that was okay with her, as long as I took her out on Saturdays and pretended to her mother that we were going to get engaged." - Ed, age 34.

"Peter rolled off me, crying out in pain. Doubled over. He asked if there were sharp edges on my diaphragm; he said it felt like teeth were biting him. I wondered if he had a disease or a urinary problem, and made him see a doctor. When the doctor said nothing was physically wrong, Peter examined my diaphragm to make sure that it had no cutting edges. His doctor told him to see a shrink. I still don't get it. Peter had been married, has a child, yet he still seems convinced that women can have teeth in there." - Yasmine, age 29.

"Gordon admired my body parts and compared them to his. He sighed that he wished he had mine. "Look at your legs; they're so smooth. If only mine were like yours." He suggested I leave some makeup and lingerie at his place, so I wouldn't have to carry it with me on our next date. I asked him if he'd use it in the meantime. He just smiled." - Julie, age 31.

"He dyed his pubic hair. He said it looked better blond." - Jill, age 32.

"In bed, Carol whispered that she used to be Carl. She'd had the operation. She used to be a man. She asked if I could tell." - Bill, age 47.

"The man had shaved every hair off his body. From his eyebrows down, he was bald as a baby." - Jennifer, age 27.

"We were lying in bed, and Roland asked me if I'd ever done gerbils. I asked him what he meant. You've never seen a woman get into her pantyhose as fast as I did." - Emily, age 25.

"He asked about other men I'd been to bed with. Was he better? Bigger? Built as good? He wanted a report card. No, he wanted a spreadsheet, comparative data." - Charity, age 26.

"We went to her place. The bathroom counter was covered with four toothbrushes and a display of designer condoms. Courtesy supplies, she called them. Scary, I called them." - Adam, age 40.
