Tried calling Chris Lam to say I didn't have a ride this week to VBS, but his mom Auntie Fonda said he wasn't home - I recognized her voice, and asked her how she was doing. She misinterpreted that as "where are you going now?" and told me that she and her husband Kevin went to another church now. I think I figured that out some time ago, but thanks for the info and Chris' cell number (which she had to write down to make sure she had the correct one) anyway!
After about 20 minutes of stalling, I did call Chris on his cell - I don't know why I felt the need to ask if he were going to VBS when I knew very well that the answer was yes! However, I did say that I didn't have a ride this week, so would probably only be able to go when Henry went. He said that it was fine, and thanked me for letting him know, at least! I had told him back in April that my only issue with helping out was the ride thing, after all.
Trivia fact for Monday, Aug. 16: Chemically speaking, what is sublimation? The process by which a solid changes directly into a gas without passing through the intermediate liquid state.
