Canned food

High-scoring word of the night:

MOWER (192 points) - against Grace A. [two 4W] {a good deficit-erasing word!}

Martin's said that he doesn't think he'll be able to volunteer at all this year for VBS - ha, I guess Henry's info of last weekend was wrong then. No worries! I'll just talk to people tomorrow, and see what happens! It's Chinese Eric's birthday today, too... hopefully, I'll see him soon on MSN to wish him a good one!

Trivia fact for Sunday, Aug. 15: What American canned food product did Soviet premier Nikita Khrushchev credit with saving his army from starvation during World War II? Spam. In his book Khrushchev Remembers (1970), he wrote: "We had lost our most fertile, food-bearing lands, the Ukraine and the Northern Caucasus. Without Spam, we wouldn't have been able to feed our army."
