Mother's Day AND Mom's Birthday! / Census / Drying Pants / Ministry / Quizzes
Today happens to be my mom's birthday as well as Mother's Day. Double the pressure... or killing two birds with one stone, as Citrus termed it last week in Sunday service.
I'm so bored. At least I did some laundry, even though the dryers totally suck and won't dry my pants properly. :P I just hung 'em out to dry on the patio overnight. The management frowns on that behavior, but what else can I do? I don't want to spend another $1.25 for another dryer cycle... and I figure I'll be fine as long as I remember to get 'em in the morning before leaving for church, hehe. :P
The online census form made Firefox crash, so I applied Corey's past advice and used IE instead. Thank goodness for autosaves! :D (Corey just messaged me about the Ministry concert that he and Jane went to tonight... sounds like it was a rocking time, hehe!)
Corey says that Jane seemed to like P-Funk last night, but thought that Ministry was too loud for some reason. I told him to take her to a Motörhead concert instead if she wanted LOUD, haha! He said that the opening band did a bad cover of Ace of Spades, heh. "Ministry's set this year is GOOD... the first half or so is a mix of songs from the newest album and the last one, then they played NWO, Just One Fix, Thieves, So What, Stigmata, Psalm 69.. some other newer ones... probably 1-2 old ones I'm not remembering (NO Jesus Built My Hotrod this year.. which was surprising, but okay) Probably fewer older ones than normal, but that was okay because the rest was really good."
All I know about Bleach is that it's some kind of anime... o_O
What's so wrong with On the Road? I read it once... pretty interesting!

| Yep, you get the Perks of Being a Wallflower. This is not a compliment... At least you're not reading On the Road. I can be wrong, since it's been known to happen. If so, try Catcher in the Rye. Not a fantastic book, but way more skill in writing it than Perks. At least Salinger personifies Holden. Watch for the paragraph near the end where he's sitting in his sister's school stairwell. Best part. Or better yet, emo kid, try To Kill a Mockingbird. Vote Atticus. |
