BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN / Questions 4901-4950 of 5000 / Quizzes

Brokeback Mountain was an interesting movie: Eric said that he'd let me choose whatever I wanted to watch, so I chose that since I kinda wanted to see it... good thing the cinemas weren't busy! He wanted to read the reviews, so I looked them up on IMDB for him. Turns out he just read the part about ranch hands in Wyoming, and wasn't exactly expecting Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal (very easy on the eyes, hehe) to get it on... or the other scenes involving nudity! (but at least the imagery wasn't as blunt as he thought it might be!) I didn't know that, but was still looking sideways at him to see how he was taking the various scenes. Let's just say that it was an interesting movie, and it sorta made me think about how love can endure over the years. (not that I have any of that experience to draw on myself, but it was fun!)

Since it was 11:30 when the movie ended, he just drove me home after that. Good thing the movie theatre is very near my place, and we didn't elect to go to Silvercity! I got to keep the pizza and wings, which was fine: last time we went to Boston Pizza, he kept the pizza and such! Maybe next time he can drag Nathan out: he tried to call Nate earlier, with no luck. (he wasn't on MSN, either!) Definitely a good hangout time. :D

Just checked my email: both Alan and Phil have replied to Karen's general email about Billy and Stella's new baby. Phil replied to Alan's news: Alan's now an uncle in the Western culture (as he put it), since his sister and her husband have a son born on 9 February at 11:59 PM... he missed a Feb. 10 birthday by THAT much! :P The kid's name is Noah Webster, like the dictionary guy. Cool. :D

Got these questions from this QuestionClub LJ post by Arthurbulla. I'm going to post the survey in 50-question batches, like the original. No worries there! Five thousand questions and answers wouldn't fit as an entry, anyhow. :P
