Friends don't let friends get constipated! / Fractured bones

Teunis and I left at about 5:30 to get to Jon and Harmony's, and encountered a stupid person who didn't care if he was backing out of a parking stall, because they just went RIGHT PAST us! What an idiot! I did okay holding the pie on the way there, haha. Got to Jon and Harmony's to find Jeremy already there - Connie, Tracy, Alan, Dylan, and Deb showed up later. Of course Jen and Randal showed up TOGETHER - ugh! Nathan was really late, but we expected that... Steph showed up as some people were leaving, and said that work had delayed her. Discussed grilling, Jordan / Fort St. John stories, Jeremy's health problems after a mango chutney at the Jazz Festival, Pho diarrhea, Jeremy's brother Mark, Creamsicles, Dave Wong, the World Cup and stories growing out of that, brewing, dehydration, stabbings, sibling "love," beer, tentative plans for next week (I'm not SUPER BUSY on Sundays - but the consideration and meeting timing works out), emails (Dylan thanked me for reminding him), TROLL / TROLL 2, LeBron James and Cleveland, bulgogi beef, recycling, turkey, patties, marinade, creamy lime-cilantro salad, Yvonne's gig, Dave's wedding on August 1, Vivian S. leaving tomorrow, consummation of marriage, scurvy, constipation, Eric joking about that, weapon stories, birth control, fertility, and more.

Jeremy and I sat together on the steps and ate - it seemed to work! When Steph showed up, she said that she'd gotten a "Passion" tattoo from a friend of a friend, and wants to get a "Perseverance" tattoo on her other wrist. It was moderately painful, and she'd told Mom about it a year ago. Her reaction, in a dubious tone of voice: "Well, it's your body..." Apparently, she's also having one of two surgeries for cataracts tomorrow - of course, I didn't know any of this, which works for me! Jon and Harmony went tandem biking yesterday, and didn't know that Steph had never really learned to bike - who would be the LEAST likely to bike? Probably any others of us, haha.

Deb agreed that I was being hospitable, and it's truly a blessing to have a good friend around! Of course, I had to tell Deb / Harmony / Tracy the alarm story from this morning just to be funny - I'm not mad at Teunis at all, hah! Told Steph that my place looked a little less like a HOARDERS episode, since we'd taken the monitors and TV to the recycling place this morning, so she gave that a thumbs-up.Of course, I had to slap her on the legs and such - I noticed Randal staring, so I said it was sibling interaction. When people started saying that Nathan's meat tasted really good and tender, I was the first one to say that it sounded SO WRONG! No, I don't have THAT much of a dirty mind, hahaha. Told Nathan that we had to go to the Night Market when he was in town - A MUST, he said! Jon gave me some Japanese sake or something alcoholic which Harmony's uncle had picked up from Japan for them, plus some chocolate with straight Kentucky whiskey / liqueur in it - gee, thanks! Went home to discuss personal things, Kaili being busy tomorrow, apple crumble / pie, plans, cinnamon, Brazilian black bean soup, Asperger's, and other stuff.

Trivia fact for Friday, July 9: What is the most commonly fractured bone in the human body? The clavicle - or collar bone - which connects the breastbone (sternum) to the shoulder blade (scapula).
