Drastic payments, no more non-free outings, OCDL tag notes, and biking
Got up at around 9 this morning, so at least Teunis didn't have to take me up on my directive of telling him to knock on my door if I wasn't up yet by the time he needed to leave! Discussed Kaili not understanding certain things like poverty, money issues, loans, NO OUTINGS WHICH COST MONEY (she won't understand THAT either - even if he normally loves her company!), gas, bank accounts, U-Haul fees, cheques, paying bills, personal things, OBLIVION, BIOSHOCK, his bank of computers (Andrew and roadside finds!), Cat, games as anger management (he can play those offline with something called STEAM), grilling oyster mushrooms and sausage for breakfast, a drastic "solution" from Student Loans (SIX DAILY PAYMENTS OF $106?!), not being able to afford more food or gas till September, pens, and coming back here later to finish packing and such. He thinks he's bad at thinking of ideas to help me out, but he is NOT! I appreciate his ideas!
Also talked about Hundred Mile House fair-trade coffee from Vietnam, vacuum cleaners from storage, bleach, the military putting tiny bits of bleach in water to make it drinkable, shaving, pita bread, garlic, butter, The Massage Book (George Downing and Anne Kent Rush), mustard, traditional British dishes, routers, his mom coming here for a reunion of her high school friends at the end of the month, Skype, servers, remote access, showering, biology, school, snark, mice / closing bathroom doors / drying / rot / safety and health / Brenda's Spider-Man cake, and more. At least Robin's folks don't mind if Teunis comes over tonight sometime! Still, this whole emergency thing REALLY SUCKS! So much for taking it easy, even if you discount the whole money thing...
Turns out Kaili did indeed lose her friend to suicide (as per a call from the Missouri police), who was actually transgendered. That kind of thing is REALLY sucky, from what I understand! :(
On a more OCDL note: With this whole "staying over" thing, certain tags of mine have experienced quite a jump in usage over the last month or so! "Visitors" / "Peter" / "Johan Hedberg" / "Teunis" / "Winterlion" (168 plus whatever other entries I make today before he clears out), and "Houseguests" (130 plus whatever other entries I make today before he clears out) have all been used [almost?] every entry since July 6 or so!
