"They're not drunk on sweet wine - it's only nine in the morning!"

When Eric picked me up, he wondered whether I was on any stimulants such as coffee: apparently, I'd seemed very "on" when he called me to let me know that he was on his way. Hahaha... no, the coffee would have to wait till later, unless someone else got to the coffee pot first! Then we talked about people learning their lesson, and how I didn't have to fight his battles for him as far as people interrupting his dinner went. Well, hopefully that new person learned his lesson - could be that I might need to learn one, too. However, he doesn't know that I'm a representative of the Fellowship! As I told Eric, I'm a mixture of sweetness and snark - that led him to conclude that I'm a contradiction in terms. Maybe, maybe not - but that's how I am! He said that his own personal FLASH FORWARD had him thinking that I was a very bad person - nah, he kinda totally deserved it! Then I said that I'd seen a certain perfidious blackguard wearing purple yesterday at the carnival - then he wondered whether I'd confirmed that Darkwing Duck wore purple. Not yet, since the computer had restarted way too much, like it did just now! (I have no idea when it's going to do that, but I've confirmed it just now - plenty of purple on Google Images!) Edit: Also restarted at 2:55, 3:10, 4:01, 4:27, 4:31, 4:35, 5:15, and 5:40!

It was 9:20 when we got to church, and Eric observed that nobody was here yet - well, it was still early! We went in the church together, and talked to Christon about his being up at 5:30 AM to work on the Powerpoint, which apparently had a lot of word errors. He had left church at about 10 PM yesterday after the carnival, and hadn't felt like working on the Powerpoint! When we finally went inside the sanctuary, I plunked my stuff down in the usual spot (counting rows), no matter if a few CSC people were still there talking! Talked to Emily, Nina, and Gerard about my age - Nina thought I was 22, while Gerard was closer with 32. They were playing a DS game called FREEDOM FOR GINGERBREAD MAN (or something like that) - NICE! Met a Seattle friend of Vania's, too.

Said hey to Jeremy when he got there, and we moved over later for Jon and Harmony. I talked to Nathan for a bit about the carnival: his mom was manning one of the booths, and there were supposed to be games, but weren't. Also said hi to Connie, Alan, and Tracy. As usual, I was fighting the urge to fall asleep! When the Bible passage in Acts said "They're not drunk on sweet wine - it's only nine in the morning!" (in reference to Jesus' 11 disciples at Pentecost), Jeremy and I had to laugh about it with Jon!

Afterwards, Auntie Ying tried talking to me, but I was too focused on my primary objective of COFFEE, haha. I took a little too much black coffee, but dumped half of it out in the sink while saying hello to Lincoln and Karen. Said hi to Hien, and noted that I'd seen the video Kenny posted - hahaha! I welcomed Darren, Jason H., Erin, and Ben back (they're here for a week) - talked about my sister's whereabouts, small-group activities, cooking, homeless connections, endless family dinners, "wonderful" French bread, hugs, Bible Study, discussing sermon material, websites, missions trips, Thursday potluck, and more. Since Chuck and Andrea were also back for now, I greeted them - yes, I had enjoyed their wedding! Talked to Cordia and Keenan about the Snyder's veggie crisps on offer today. Said hi to Andrew, and talked about work and the carnival. Greeted Dylan and Geoffrey: we were talking about my purple "Act Now BC" T-shirt when Eric came up and wondered what we'd discuss during tomorrow's Committee Meeting. Dylan asked if he'd sent out the minutes: two weeks ago at 1 AM, which he likened to a company sending out bad news on Friday afternoon! Geoffrey left in the middle of a discussion about Jon / SERVANTS / switching programs from a debrief to Bible Study / Cindy / Christon / Grace / Jen.

I eventually went upstairs: Margaret (crying), Kimberly (new fourteen-month-old), Mattias (crying), Ramen, Shira, Conor, Alexandra, Amanda, Esther, and Harrison were there. The boys liked their paper airplanes, and when Margaret calmed down, she wrote her name backwards on hers multiple times. Auntie Ying was busy talking to Rachel's grandma about (I assume) her husband, and wanted me to call her so we could talk about the Bible verses. I probably won't, since I'll be at Erin's old place, then contending with endless restarts! Still haven't figured out whether I'll skip on the weekend the guys are in Portland - we'll see, since the Daniel people will be at camp next weekend. Can't ask Ivan or Sam then, although maybe during the week... Eric isn't even sure if he'll go to Fellowship the night before the trip, since they have an early start. So I *may* skip since there goes my seatmates AND half the lunch crew! Eric thinks maybe Dave Wong will be there - HA.

When I went to the washroom after Sunday School, I saw Sean waiting for his mom. He said something that I couldn't quite catch, so I asked for clarification: "I'm just hungry now!" I assured him that his mom would probably take the family for lunch soon! I got back to the room (Margaret's brother Alan said hi to me and waved) to find that Conor had punched out the sheep aid from the paper - hey, he can keep it! (I thought Amanda would like it, but she didn't) Said hi to his brother Sean before I left the room for good myself.

Spotting a recycling receptacle on the way downstairs, I decided to recycle my empty water bottle. Amanda's sister Hannah seemed tearful, and tried telling me what was going on. Since I wanted to give her some undivided attention, I told her to hold on a minute. Apparently, Amanda had played their Nintendo DS all day yesterday even though they were supposed to share! I told Hannah that she was the big sister, and she said that she knew that, so she'd just let Amanda play yesterday. I was thinking more along the lines of big sister dominance (at least today), but that probably works better. So I told her to tell Amanda that since she'd let her play with it all day yesterday, she should at least be given equal time today. Amanda was playing with said DS when I attempted to tell her that she should let Hannah play with it today because she wasn't happy - try to SHARE! (her dad told her to listen to me, but she was too busy with her game even if I attempted to take the system away!)

During the middle of this attempted discussion, Eric came upstairs with his guitar - yep, I knew he was there! He kindly waited till I was done with the girls, and then we went straight home. I saw my mom as we crossed the foyer, but we avoided her. We discussed Mr. Creep coming in early (9-11 during worship practice?) to help with the carnival (and they LET him?!), membership meetings, French / Italian stuff, fake voices, FOGHORN LEGHORN, when I was going to call Darkwing (I don't plan it out - except maybe to the extent where I don't want to look like a stalker so I wait a requisite number of days or weeks), being a red tomato chicken, gouging out eyes when you murder your victims, Ice Cathedrals, cloud dispersal, his being able to eat the oatcakes (these ones are not for sharing!), tomorrow, my being more observant than he is, the hot weather, and more.
