The Keg, Aaron Pierce, and more!

Mom picked me up, so I was able to read a bit of the paper before we left the townhouse to go for Steph's birthday dinner: I'm not surprised that there was another gang shooting today. But it was a WOMAN with a KID! Gave Steph her Rockets, which she seemed to like. Jonathan showed up for dinner, and it was cool. Talked about problems, saving money, cognac Brie steak with peppercorns, fried onions, teriyaki, Terrence coming here in late June, tiramisu, moving, Friday's potluck, numbers, our weird family photo poses, Keg gift cards, birthdays, age, Jon and music, training, and more. It was a good dinner!

HOUSE was about some dude who had AIDS-like symptoms, but not the actual disease. He was born with this set of unfortunate circumstances: HOW BAD! In 24, Aaron Pierce and Morris O'Brian were back - YAY! The ambulance was on scene to take Henry to the hospital, too! President Taylor wanted to leave the White House and be with her husband, and won't be held hostage in her office, so Bill offers to escort her there on some conditions. Dubaku visits his girlfriend, and says that he wants her to come with him when he leaves the country TONIGHT - yikes! "Your sister Rosa might cause trouble for us, so don't tell her about anything... do you trust me?" Oh dear. Someone's gonna be dead by the end of the day! Renee says that she had to hold Agent Vossler's wife and baby hostage, and Larry doesn't like that at all.

Chloe and Morris are apparently still together, which is cool. Larry introduced Chloe to the FBI, and made several derogatory comments about Jack, his wife, Ryan Chappelle, and others. But Chloe stuck up for Jack as the most trustworthy person, haha. Erica talked to Janice about Chloe being in the conference room, and was cautious. Dubaku sensed danger when he met up with his informant in the hotel lobby, and he was right: his conspirator / travel agent calls off the assassination plot. Jack Bauer and Renee interrupted an argument between Dubaku's girlfriend and her sister, heh.

The drug that evil Brian Gedge injected Henry with will probably cause an adverse reaction, and the President and her daughter just do NOT get along at all. Jack understands how hard it is for Marika, but she needs to do something for them. Renee is looking at cell phone pictures of Dubaku on Marika's cell phone, and Jack uses her as bait: at least there wasn't any radioactive dye like there was with Gredenko last season! The President's daughter is upset with Aaron for interrupting her date, and demands to know what's going on.

Janice was very upset when she couldn't hack into the FBI network to see what Chloe was doing, so she uses Sean's interoffice romance against him for her own ends! They lose the tracking grid as Janice pulls that device, and Jack Bauer gets closed off by police officers because someone has issued a warrant for their arrest. This is how we find out that Sean is the FBI corrupt agent, AKA the mole. Dubaku finds out about everything, and is justifiably pissed off. He's not going to get out of the country, and will deal with Marika himself: we all know how THAT'S gonna end... o_O [next week's episode apparently involves Dubaku chewing Marika out since he trusted her, and Chloe saying that files are getting erased as she speaks...]

Earlier tonight when I was ten feet away from her, my mom was setting the VCR to record House, since we were going out for my sister's birthday dinner. My sister was upstairs getting ready, and the following ensued:

Mom, repeating the name of the channel to herself: "28..."
Steph: "No, Mom... 26!" (her new age)
Me: "She's talking about the channel, not you!"
Steph: "Oh!"
Me: "Egotistical!"
Steph: "Cheh! Bad!"
Mom: "... TESTICLES?!"
*Steph and I laugh like crazy*
Mom: "Why are you so gross?!"
Me: "Never mind... that's not what I said!"

A little later, Mom went upstairs to get something done. Steph told her that she had her camera, and Mom was like "What sandwich?!" "CAMERA, Mom... NOT a sandwich!"
