A Rather Innovative Public Toilet (don't go!) / Mantis on a stick! / Cindy / dream about Russians

Note: LJ interests meme.

Hey, Randal (who is Steph's favorite David Fellowship member, not even saving my presence! :( ) sent Andrea and a bunch more of us a Youtube clip about a rather innovative public toilet! ("Hey Andrea, I am sending you this hyperlink because I think it may be of interest to someone involved in city planning. On Saturday, I had left a coffee shop in Kerrisdale and took a walk down the street. I suddenly found myself having to go to the washroom, but there was no public toilet nearby. Please check out this footage of a very innovative public toilet in Japan. The Japanese are very clever. A friend in HK forwarded this to me.") Of course, I had to forward it to a bunch of people in my address book: too piss funny! (pun fully intended!)

Reminds me that Dallas is probably going to YouTube the "MANTIS ON A STICK!!!" thing from last night, or maybe he'll do the same to Jon's video of Jeremy's polishing / sharpening his cleavers and knives in the kitchen. Darryl also had some Bailey's Irish Cream in his private stash: cool stuff!

Cindy also emailed me (like she does every year) to thank me for giving her a birthday card. "Dear Leslie: Thank you for the birthday card, your kind words of encouragement, and for always, always remembering my birthday. You truly have a gift from heaven in the caring business! Have an awesome week... see you soon. Cindy." It's nice to know she appreciates it. :)

I also had a weird dream where I was in this world where you could advance levels by doing certain things, with the threat of an evil presence wanting to take the world over. There was Level 14 with huts and apartment buildings, gold elevators once you reached Level 21 and up, a dancing class which I helped a Russian immigrant with (she only had a passport), a story about a dog looking for his companion Annie (after two failed attempts, he found her lying on a cloud in the sky), and various people I know. Sheena was around most of the time, little Ryan / Ethan / Gwyneth / Evelyn were tagging along a lot, and Fidela had to find her parents before they sang a certain death song. Lots of bookstores and library space, too... very weird, but at least we all got away from the evil presence in the end!

If this is how my subconscious processes things like little Ryan telling me that he and his friend Samantha are going to the River Rock casino / restaurant with their families (but not to gamble since they're seven years old or something!), Evelyn telling me about her toy Doraemon phone, and the general craziness of the PUMAMAN... well, let's just say it's what I expect! (no violent deaths or explosions, though!)

Oh, and Steph was also saying that she half-expected Randal to raise his hand on Friday night during the presentation on the new church building project, and ask Hansel this question: "I have a question, Hansel. Will there be breastfeeding in the rooms for the crying babies?" Hahaha! Only funny if you know them both: Randal COULD ask the question, but Hansel would probably never discuss that subject!
