Postcards galore, Terrence, and holiday quizzes
I received three Christmas cards from Sheryl (sheryll), Ana (glamourcorpse), and Charlotte (charshark) today! Sheryl included two postcards of San Antonio, while Charlotte included a bunch of postcards from her shipment of 500 that she apparently got off eBay for some ridiculously cheap price... thanks so much! :D
* Virgin and Child with Angels: Folding Ivory triptych, with traces of polychromy... from the Metropolitan Museum of Art
* the Seine and Notre Dame from Paris, France
* the Legend of the Dogwood (having to do with the Crucifixion)
* the Big Hole River and the Pinter Peaks in the distance on Highway 43 between Wise River and Wisdom, Montana
* New York City
* an "artsy" one by Anne Taintor involving those word fridge magnets: "my garden kicks ass"
* wolves
* Seattle University fountain and Christmas tree at dusk
* yellow brittlebush and saguaro cactus by Canyon Lake on the Apache Trail in Arizona (should ask Corey if he's ever been there in his travels to visit his ex, heh)
My cousin Wilson sent me a Christmas ecard, which was nice of him. I kinda forgot about the ecard option this year, but I'll certainly send him one in return! Haha, it's a game thing... grab the ornaments and hang them on the tree before the cat gets them! :D
Steph also emailed me about Terrence: she won't be in town for much of the Poo Help Doctor's appearance, since he gets here sometime in Monday evening and leaves at 4 AM on NYE. At least he's very independent and social... Jon and I won't have to worry much about him, and can bring him out to whatever we do if we wish! (it should be fairly obvious why she calls him that, haha)
