61 sets - With the possibility of 67 sets in the world. 38 (possibly 44) sets are all female, and 20 (possibly 21) sets are male. One set is gender unknown.

25 weeks, 1 day (104 days early) - Ben Stewart, Hannah Elise, Ryan Colin, and Lisa Nicole Tepper (Australia, February 20 1997).

Longest Gestation
37+ weeks - Singh (India, July 14 2001). Four boys

Delayed Birth
13 days - Odinakachukwu, Chinedu, Chisom, and Kelechi Anyakudo/Enwere (Texas, February 1 and 13 1999) with all surviving.

Oldest Quads (All still surviving)
70 years - Ernest, Paul, Michael, and Anne Miles (England, November 28 1935).

Other quads that may qualify - Mahaney (Canada, 1923). I don't have information on if all 4 are still living. If they are, they would be the oldest quadruplets ever at 82.

Oldest Quads (History, at least one deceased)
79 years 316 days - Adolf, Anne-Marie, Emma, and Elisabeth Ottman (Germany, May 5 1912). Adolf died first.

Oldest Individual Quadruplet
90 years old - Roberta Keys Torn (Texas, June 4 1915)

Youngest Mother of Quads (When the quads were born)
15 years old - Bobby Jo Broviak (North Carolina, 1991) Spontaneous. Scott, Adam, Valerie, Brittany.
15 years old - Unidentified (Syria, June 13). Had 3 girls and 1 boy.

Youngest Father of Quads (When the quads were born)
18 years old - Belcher (Arkansas, April 17 1998).

Oldest Mother of Quads (When the quads were born)
55 years, 286 days old - Merryl 'Mary' Fudel (California, April 18 1998). IVF Brooke (d), Brianna, Brittany, and Dario. She gave up for adoption 2 girls, and kept the boy.

Oldest Mother of Spontaneous Quads (When the quads were born)
47 years - Takalane Makapileh (South Africa, October 29 2005) 3 girls and 1 boy, no fertility methods. She has four grandchildren.

Oldest Father of Quads (When the quads were born)
75 years old - Mr. Amalfi (Colombia August 9 1944). He had 30 children by his first wife, and 13 with his second before the quads.

Schizophrenic Quads
The identical "Genain" quadruplets were girls born in the US and studied extensively because all four developed varying degrees of schizophrenia before age 24.

Hospital Delivering the Most Quads
72 sets - Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Arizona since 1986, as well as over 400 sets of triplets and 5 sets of quints and 1 set of sextuplets up to September 2006. The quads are delivered at an average of 32 weeks, which is more than the national average of 29 1/2 weeks.

Most Sets
4 sets - Four people hold the record - Kirilow, Mrs. Feodor Vassiliev, Mrs. Zoellner, and an unidentified man and his wife.

Surrogate Quads
4 sets - There have been 4 sets born to surrogates in the US - 2 in California (Nelson & unid set), 1 in Arizona (Beehler), and 1 in Missouri (Thomas). The Dysarz/Meehan set were also surrogate, but conceived as quints.
