Most Sets of Triplets
15 sets - Maddalena Granata (Italy, 1839-1886).

Of modern times: 6 sets - Unidentified (Turkey). She had her 6th set in October of 2003.

Most Premature Triplets (All three surviving)
24 weeks (112 days early) - Haven, Jey, and Sean Aponte-Tucker (New York, April 16 2002).
24 weeks (112 days early) - Zoe, Ella, and Aidan Gough (Arizona, August 21 2005).

Lightest Total Birth Weight (All three surviving)
48.75 ozs - The Coffey triplets... Peyton (1 lb 4.5 ozs), Jackson (14.75 ozs), and Blake (13.5 ozs) (Virginia, November 1998). (3 lbs 3/4 ozs)

Lightest Triplet (Individual baby, surviving)
13.5 ozs - Blake Coffey (Virginia, November 1998).

Heaviest Total Birth Weight
24 lbs - McDermott (England, November 18 1914). Each baby would've weighed around 8 lbs.
23 lbs - Williamson (Oklahoma)
22 lbs 8 ozs - Parker (England, February 21 1972)

There was an unconfirmed report of an Iranian woman who had 2 boys and 1 girl totalling 26 lbs 6 ozs on March 18 1968.

Heaviest Individual Triplet
8 lbs (approx) - One of the McDermott triplets (England, November 18 1914). The other two McDermott triplets would also be around 8 lbs.

There is also the possibility one of the Hulse triplets (total 21 lbs) or the Parker triplets (22 lbs 8 ozs total) could also vie for heaviest individual triplet.

54 years old - Arcelia Garcia (Washington). Arianna, Brianna, and CeCelia. She has 8 other children and 15 grandchildren.

13 years old - Unidentified (Sweden), no further information.

Most Triplets Delivered at One Hospital
400+ - Banner Good Samaritan in Arizona has delivered over 400 sets of triplets since 1986.

Ectopic Triplet
Ingram (England, September 1999). Olivia and Mary were conceived normally, while Ronan was conceived as an ectopic pregnancy (where the baby grows in the fallopian tube instead of the uterus). The tube ruptured, the fetus fell out and attached itself to the outside of the womb, yet was healthy when born by Caesarean section. All three survived and are doing well.

Reunited Triplets
69 years - Florence, John, and May Hodder (who go by Gill, David, and Helena) (England, May 18 1932). Given up for adoption at 1 day old, they met for the first time at age 69.

Since 1989, there have been an average of 1802 sets of triplets born each year in the US (approximately 150 or fewer of the sets would be all identical triplets).
