Shopping London Drugs by phone when they ran out of stuff (dream) / Judging people

Had a weird dream which involved my shopping at the London Drugs until they ran out of a certain product. Somehow, this caused the entire store to close HOURS before the posted time on the door! I was told that I could take a flyer and call the regional number to shop by phone, which apparently worked pretty well. So being a dutiful customer, I did just that. When I got home, I looked through the flyer to see what else I wanted. However, the person on the other end of customer service could clearly hear my loud radio, no matter how low I turned it down so as not to interfere with conversation! Finally (after telling him multiple times to hold on), I turned the damn thing OFF!

After ordering stuff like Mushroom Brand Water and nuts (don't ask), I thought I had a good semblance of a list. The phone call got cut off for some reason, so I went to check the website at my computer. I was surprised when I got an email and two attempted phone calls in short order, both from my dad; the Gmail snippet told me all I needed to know. "I am not YOU..." Not knowing how the store got my parents' number (and needing to complete my transaction anyhow), I dialed the customer service number again. This time, I got a lady who put me on hold to go searching for the agent who'd originally handled my order. She said that she didn't know how the company got my parents' number, but said they'd look into it. I was woken up by a combination of the sun streaming through my window AND multiple Trillian Astra sound effects after that. Triggers: LJ seriously compromising its users' privacy (I've been keeping up with the NEWS post pretty good, plus the LJ Releases #69 post!), shopping for real at London Drugs, getting ALL THESE FLYERS in the mail, calling people, having a few missed calls, and checking email by way of Gmail Notifier's snippets when I'm busy with something else!

You Judge People Based on Evidence

You know better than to judge a book by its cover, and you don't make snap judgements about people either.

You look at the facts, and you try to make educated choices. You never mind admitting that you're wrong.

It's hard for you to trust people that you've just met. You always need to get to know people.

You never go with your gut, but you may be surprised. Your intuition is probably more dead on than you realize.

And this is why I never trusted Mr. Creep, especially not after he signed that sheet to help out with Kids' Night! *shudder* Good thing he's GONE! As for most of the other newcomers? I just hate people, that's all. :D
