Someone named Phillip Lam wants to add me on Facebook. I vaguely recall someone of that name in Palmer, but there must be many people with the name! Good thing he added a personal message, haha - while I was at it, I added Hayden / Bobby Singh / Tyler Taumoli / Darcy! We have a mutual friend in Kevin T., haha.

This is apparently how they conduct health checks in Taiwan:

Flami (9:06 PM): so how's the health?
Corey (9:09 PM): health?
Flami (9:12 PM): I dunno. you said something about a health check
Corey (9:16 PM): oh... fine, I'd assume... they don't do that much...
Flami (9:19 PM): just stab you with a needle!
Corey (9:19 PM): they do a blood test or something
Corey (9:20 PM): they do that... check your eyes, height, and weight... X-ray your chest, which seems really dangerous to me... then a doctor comes out to ask you questions, but instead he doesn't... he just writes something on your paper, and leaves... somehow from that, you get a score on your mental health, too
Corey (9:21 PM): and epilepsy? I don't remember them testing to see if I have seizures from flashing lights
Corey (9:24 PM): maybe the blood test can detect that.. but the "mental condition" field? I don't see where they did anything at all to determine that... unless that just means you behaved yourself while you were there :P
Flami (9:28 PM): don't they have those radiation shields when they X-ray your chest?
Corey says (9:30 PM): NO
Flami (9:31 PM): gee, no need to yell
Corey says (9:38 PM): OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
