Mangoes and papaya do not belong on local farms for a school project!

Had dinner at a place called Brewster's - Steph's friend's car wouldn't start, so they took a cab over to the restaurant instead. (they'll ship the car to her posting!) It was interesting: had jambalaya, beer, pasta, bison burger, and more. Talked about "NICE" guys, in-jokes, embarrassing stories, the flat water, Harmony's last name, missing special events, CROSS COUNTRY CANADA, riding horses / bikes, teaching, compassion for little brothers, Mom's initial impression of Billie ("is she in a GANG and from a BROKEN FAMILY since you met her online?!"), Vivian and Vanessa being REALLY alike, interesting stories from Steph's injury time ("she had to dress me - can you put on these clothing items for me?"), crying facilitators, lazy choir members, getting kicked out of Timothy camp, and Asian discipline. Kids are so over-scheduled these days that homework seems to be BANNED! Some things are also inappropriate to be grown on BC farms: mangoes, papaya, powdered milk, etc. Do these kids know how to be social, with the Nintendo DS and similar things?! Yikes! Steph actually paid for most of the meal: the "washroom" trick strikes again, from a sneaky ninja!

Mom asked me earlier if I still talked to Korey: of course not! Jon said that some people do talk with their exes, which I am well aware of. But I'm not doing it right now: even my guru says it's not a good idea! (we discussed white Eric, Christmas songs, embarrassment, tomorrow's plans, English sweets, and more) Now I'm just briefly touching base with Corey and Chinese Eric: new minivans with cool features, "bribery" as a value, cold temperatures, the Taser incident at the airport, surviving the deep freeze, and more.
