Hangouts with Chinese Eric, and a win against the Bruins

Eric H. came by at around 6:20, and we were on our way to Panos Greek Taverna shortly afterwards: he had Cajun sirloin, I had roast lamb, and we shared some calamari. We talked about a lot of things: Citrus being a nice guy, Danielle liking that, their being a good couple, this Saturday's concert and tickets, Jon getting back soon, talking to my sister online and her weird MSN names, his relationship with Fay, cholesterol, Greek / Italian food, not wanting your own ethnic food (reminds me of when Sean called Denise "spoiled" when she didn't want to go to Oscar's after church for Chinese food), and Christmas plans. He wondered if I'd like to go bowling, and mentioned getting tickets to a Canucks game through his work, since they supply food to GM Place. Then he mentioned other ideas for hanging out, such as going to one of the revolving restaurants in town: when I tried paying him back for the Greek food tonight, he said it was a "listening fee" and not to worry about it. Fine with me!
When we headed home, the Canucks were winning 2-0. After I made him watch Rejected and view Amy's icon (which he pronounced "weird and gross"), the Bruins had tied the game. Then I blogged for him, changed his mood theme, and added an icon for him. Turns out the Canucks won 5-2... I wonder what Vernon (a life-long Bruins fan) thought of the game, haha. Eric wanted me to ask Nathan whether he could get tickets for the Saturday Christmas concert... it turns out that Nathan was thinking of him when he originally got his ticket, so now Eric has a ticket and a ride. (this is why we love Nathan, but not in that way! :P) I decided to bug Corey, and Eric wanted to know what his AIM name meant: after Corey messed around a bit, Eric was decidedly unimpressed with his answer. Then again, Eric mixed him up with someone I know who has two or five girlfriends... o_O (Corey linked us to stuff on the Something Awful forums, and told us that he only had slave girls!) Hahaha, always good times hanging out with friends! :D
