Vancouver Canucks Schedule
I just looked the hockey game schedule up on the Canucks website. The NHL schedule-makers are on crack as usual. Playing the Oilers three times in one week, and playing the Wild eight times over the course of a year? (and what's with only seeing Philadelphia and Boston [for example] once this season?) Not to mention a Mar. 29 game at 8... at least we're playing the Kings at home. :P Man, that's wacky... and if anyone can tell me why that is, I'll be happy to listen. :D
Ah well, I suppose things have got to be done this way.. especially with the two-week break for the 2006 Olympics. At least there's a measure to reduce travel for our division: play a few back-to-back games in places like Colorado where the travel is horrible. :P
Nashville's arena is called the Gaylord Entertainment Center. If that isn't fodder for immature kids / teenage boys, I don't know what is. :P
Note to self: bug Darren whenever we play the Flames, and bug Corey whenever we play the Avalanche (even though he doesn't follow sports in general, and has no hockey-mad friends except me :P)
