One Year

it's been one year since I got entangled in the web..
and all I have to say now is that I'm relieved I got out!
I know that brighter things are waiting for me down the road..
not nearly as despondent as I was a few months ago..
my true / newer friends have helped to heal me..
besides, I've moved away from certain haunts..
I'm over all that now, and look only to what is ahead..
that's a great feeling, to shake off all the hurt! ;)
