2046, durian / jackfruit, beer with pearls, Nintendo A CAPELLA
I can bring you this update since we're taking a break from watching 2046 because Jon's friend Tally called him long-distance from Montreal to chat. The guys and I watched some of the movie before eating dinner: my mom does cook good food! Eric was able to eat most of it, and Mom was surprised that Jeremy ate all of it. (he's an Asian-phile... of COURSE he would!) We listened to Smile as we ate, and then we had some dessert. (rainbow sherbet and beer with pearls... very nice for what Jon and Jeremy have been dreaming of for years!) Mom thought there was some durian that the guys could try, since Jeremy and Jon love that stuff. It turned out to be jackfruit, but Nathan still wouldn't eat it. Later, Nathan did his Gollum / Smeagol voice for Jeremy: very amusing, as usual. :D
Eric also downloaded Ad-Aware on my mom's computer, and tried doing some troubleshooting. After Jon gets done neglecting us, we'll go back to the movie. It's a Chinese artsy-fartsy movie, but very good. You all should watch it, heh heh. :D
List ten things you enjoy, even when no one is around. What lowers your stress / blood pressure / anxiety level? Make a list and post it to your journal.
1. Reading good books.
2. Hanging out with good friends.
3. Listening to loud music.
4. Laughing at old humor.
5. Watching people play video games.
6. Sleeping... hey, naps can help!
7. Watching a good TV show.
8. Talking to my favorite people.
9. Acting like a crazy nut.
10. Screaming out the window.
P.S. You all should listen to this video of a choir performance of classic Nintendo songs. Very cool. :D
