A Rant on Animal Rights Activists, for Kaeri:

I'd like to believe that animal rights activists have their hearts in the right place. but I don't know. Yes, animals deserve to have their rights taken into consideration. But with the way some of the activists go about it, you'd think animals were the most precious things on this earth. Take a look at some of these quotes. Then again, take a look at PETA and the links on this site. I'm all for not having animals egregiously abused, but there ARE responsible pet owners / consumers of animal products in this world... despite what the animal rights activists would have you think! I like having animals around as pets or as part of nature... just not the animal activists' definition of nature!
