Trillian Pro and viruses

Tonight has not been a good night, computer-wise. Corey messaged me with some more non-viewable icons, which he insisted I should be able to see. I couldn't see them, so he sent me a copy of Trillian Pro. He also sent me a link to download WinRAR, which is better than WinZip. Trillian Pro had a lot of viruses, even though he runs updated anti-virus software all the time on his computer and hadn't noticed a problem. Of course I believe him. :) Running my own virus scans and doing what he told me to do ultimately didn't work.. so to make a long story short, I'm starting anew with the regular version of Trillian. It doesn't really matter that I can't see his icons... ;)
