Life comparison, psyche color, Mrs. Fields Maple Pecan Butterballs

Talked to both Erics earlier tonight - that was good to get some answers to questions and such! Corey gets no love for suggesting certain things, however. At least I guess I'm going to the thing tomorrow - but I'm not good with the unknown! Heh, I did manage to get a death threat in - not sure I'll like tomorrow night, and I just want to stay home! Ah well, the promise of certain things will keep me going!

Your Life is Better Than 43% of All People

Your life is pretty average, with lots of normal ups and downs.
You're on the way to having a better life, as long as you focus on what's really important.
Remember to take the time to do the things that you like best, and let the little things slide.
No one on their deathbed ever wished that they spent more time worrying or complaining!

Your Psyche is Green

You radiate love, empathy, and acceptance.
You are able to relax almost everyone you meet. You are naturally comforting.
Balanced and flexible, you only seem perfect!

When you are too green: you are jealous, manipulative, and deceptive.

When you don't have enough green: you feel sluggish and out of sorts.

Yield: 24 servings

1 1/4 cups Flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
3/4 cup Pecans; finely ground in Food processor or blender
1/2 cup Butter; softened
2/3 cups Sugar
1/4 cups Maple syrup

Recipe by: Ruth Burkhardt

Preheat oven to 300°F. In a medium bowl... combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and finely ground pecans. For extra flavor, sauté pecans in 1 tablespoon butter until slightly browned. Mix ingredients well with a wire whisk and set aside. In a medium bowl, cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer until mixture forms a grainy paste. Add syrup and egg and beat until slightly thickened. Add the flour mixture and blend at low speed just until combined. Place dough in plastic bag and refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour. Remove dough from refrigerator and shape into 1-inch balls. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheets 1 inch apart. Bake 17-18 minutes, or until cookie bottoms are golden brown. Immediately transfer to a cool, flat surface.
