Pope's funeral, Blogger not working, quizzes

THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL DEBATE POST! NOT MY STYLE!

Watching the Pope's funeral now... I need to stay up! It's been an interesting service so far... I like the stories, people's memories, homily, and songs. I'm not Roman Catholic or anything, but I don't mind watching the whole thing. He'll live on in our hearts and minds, as well as in the legacy he left for the world.

I'm currently watching Pope John Paul II's funeral live from the Vatican. I am just marveled at the sights I'm seeing: four kings, five queens, seventy presidents and prime ministers, and more than 2 million people at St. Peter's Basilica.

I've been following the events after the Pope's death and it amazes me how much he has touched the world. People of all races, faiths, and beliefs are now one in mourning for his loss. Leaders of tense countries are all in one place for one reason. For once, the world is in a solemn mood.

This funeral, perhaps the biggest funeral in history, is just so majestic. I am just in awe. The world may have lost a great leader, a great man, but his legacy lives on. Totus Tuus, Pope John Paul II. You'll live in our hearts, forever.
