Apparently, I sound drunk when just awake...

these gems just in from my brother:
"you sound incapacitated or drunk!"
"ugh.. is this your normal awake state?"

hey, can I help it if I sound like that when just awake?
actually, I probably CAN.. I just don't want to, darn it!
besides, you've got to allow for being groggy / cranky! ;)
