Hose, nets, Dairy Queen, meeting reminders, and penalty shots
Interesting rack of the night: HOSENETS, against Nancy A. [read this as "hose nets"]

FEDEX (100 points) - against Erin Q. [5W] (a good deficit-erasing word!)
Dylan sent out a reminder of tomorrow's committee meeting (which Pastor John has yet another conflict for) - thank goodness he did, because even I forgot about it! Teunis and I discussed that, getting ideas in the shower, compilation, checking stuff, spare keys, open source code / Google Chrome / computer specs / RAM, going near Kyle's place for a healthy walkabout, FARSCAPE / blood, and seeing the water. Also talked about hummus / garlic / chickpeas / cilantro, not being able to figure out what we wanted to eat (it's contagious!), thinking in the C programming language, and mold / distractions / pain / dishes / FLOW / IN THE ZONE mode / pretty squiggly lines.
Seems Dad wants me to go to dinner with him and Grandma tomorrow, which will definitely not work because of the aforementioned meeting! I'll just settle for being there around noon-ish and leaving by 4 or 5, depending on what Eric has to say! Yes, we usually have dinner / pick up takeout (more likely) IN VANCOUVER right before the meeting! Dairy Queen and fish burgers for lunch, man!
Trivia fact for Tuesday, Aug. 3: In the world of professional hockey, what first was recorded by St. Louis Eagles defenseman Ralph "Scotty" Bowman on November 13, 1934? He scored the first goal on a penalty shot in National Hockey League history. The NHL had approved the penalty shot in late September 1934.
