BRUCE ALMIGHTY
has anyone seen the new Jim Carrey movie Bruce Almighty yet? here's a slightly weird news item related to the film..

TODAY'S SIGN THE WORLD IS ENDING
They think it's a joke to call God. They're driving a Pinellas Park, Fla., woman nuts -- not to mention the employees at a Denver radio station, and an elderly lady in South Carolina.
The St. Petersburg Times reports for these poor folks, the phone rings at all hours -- and callers ask: "Is God there?" or "God?" Then they chuckle and hang up.
The box office hit Bruce Almighty is to blame. In one scene, God (Morgan Freeman) pages Bruce (Jim Carrey) and leaves a number, which flashes on Bruce's pager and on the movie screen.
Since it's a real phone number.. folks who dial it, wherever they are.. are getting real people answering, the paper says.
Dawn Jenkins (of Pinellas Park) saw the movie, and saw her cell phone number flash on the screen. Soon, she was getting 15 to 20 calls an hour from people asking for God.
