Talking to only a few people

there are all these people on my IM lists..
yet, I only regularly talk to a few of them..
I don't know if that's a good thing or not..

maybe I just talk to people I'm ultra-comfortable with?
that's definitely a good thing to me..
and hopefully I'm not irritating! ;)
