Alarm clocks stop dreams, even in very strange weather!
Went to church with my family... Jon says that Holly is engaged - sounds good! Mom says that really Chinese people hold engagement parties the night of the engagement, which is kinda crazy - what if the woman says no? Talked about weddings and such as well. Saw Dallas sitting behind me when I was a few feet away from Randal, so I invited him to sit with me - he and Jeremy said they'd sit behind me, so I moved to be with them. Talked to Natalie and Nathan, who wanted candy - caramel lollipops for you two, then! (they thanked me!) Nathan said that since Hannah and Priscilla were gone to Yellowstone Park, he could sit next to his sister. I asked Natalie how she felt about that: "Oh, no!" Haha, good times. :P
Dallas went off somewhere in the middle of service, so Jeremy and I shared laughs over jokes and wondered what Christon was doing with his glasses and screws. He laughed when I picked some fuzz off Christon's shirt.. hey, it had to be done! Later, I asked how his jazz gig was: it was cool, and they wanted to do an encore, but the song would just end sloppily. Heh, not good! Went downstairs to say hi to some of the kids, and gave Karen Chan her birthday card. After that, I went outside and saw a bunch of people. Danielle wondered why we'd gone out the front door, so Citrus told her that she hadn't been listening when it was announced that we wouldn't use the ramp because of the intense rain. Jeremy looked around and said: "Rain? What rain?" Indeed, it was sunny if a bit chilly. I admired his "alarm clocks stop dreams" button, and he said that it was true - Kevin, Eric, and I all agreed at various points! (Eric said he'd gotten up at 9 after pressing SNOOZE once - "Ack! I'm supposed to leave now!") Asked Jon where Andrea was - went to the back parking lot to give her a birthday card for her brother Sherman, say hi to Mike and other assorted people, talk to Daniel about a crazy SUPER SMASH BROTHERS tournament, and ask Eric about Pho and rides home. Saw Karen and Jen at the front, who were going for 7-11 caffeine - I'd talk to them later! (also waved hi to Adam and Andrew) Jeremy asked if I wanted Pho myself even if Eric didn't - nah, I told him that I had to go home and sleep since I got up at 6 to take care of some stuff!
The toddlers were pretty okay this morning, so that was good. After Sunday School, I talked to Amos: Math and Socials in summer school? Oh my. Anita apologized to me about her slip-up yesterday since she had her thumb on my name in the printed program - hey, no problem since we can blame it on "pregnant brain" now, haha. Talked to Julie and other kids who said that Louisa gave them a bunch of candy - wow, girl! I went outside and got stuff from my mom's car with my brother's keys, and left with Eric and Christon a while later. Before we dropped him off, Christon told us that he had to take seven courses at a time for the next two semesters if he wanted to graduate earlier rather than later. (insane!) Then Eric and I talked about the Oak Blockbuster, the slow traffic being my fault, and some other stuff before he dropped me off at home. As luck would have it, I had to do some stuff outside - being caught in a hailstorm while inappropriately dressed for the weather is NOT good, kiddies. :P At least this week's cabdriver was nice since he took my stuff in for me - last week's cabdriver told me in a snarky tone that I could HELP get my groceries in the trunk, and then dropped my bags off in the middle of the parking lot... how rude!
